FabSwingers.com forum: abfabs or the VA

Hi all,

We're debating which club to visit tomorrow night. We were nailed on to go to abfabs but it doesn't feel like there's many people going so we're thinking of the VA but don't know much about it.

Let us know if you've been to either on a Saturday and in particular say hi if you're planning on going tomorrow

Hi we've just viewed your profile. We've been to both clubs on a Saturday.

In terms of location it seems Ab Fabs is closer for you but you probably already know that! They are both couples only on Saturdays but VA has a bar whereas Ab Fabs is bring your own alcohol.

If you have not visited too many swings then definitely go VA first as it is classier and perhaps a bit more welcoming. Ab Fabs is maybe kinkier but it is huge and easy to get lost in there. Both clubs I recommend but VA is probably a nice visit following ourplace4fun

We would agree with all of that except we haven't been to ourplace4fun lol.

You'll be gambling on how busy VA is aswell but we have always had a great night out there...

We've been to va many times on a Saturday lovely place very classy, don't get there to late we find people have already paired up, if we are on the drag we tend to go to op4f as it does not really going till midnight

Thanks guys, what time would you recommend for the VA then? As you're right OP4F didn't really start until about 12:30 / 1.

We liked the idea of abfabs as its just down the road but don't want to turn up and be on our own in a huge empty place lol

Nevet been to Abfabs but have read enough to put is off. VA is a great club as countless othet threads on here show.

I would suspect many clubs will be quiet at this time of year

8:30 to 9 for va but we are always bloody late so normally end up at op4f we are always the last to arrive anywhere lol

Really wow that is early. Thanks for the heads up.

Crystal I think you're right about the time of the year which is another reason why abfabs may not be the right place right now as it seems like its more expensive than other clubs and set up for the summer with parts of it being outdoors...

We've been to all three, like them for different reasons.

Ourplace tends to be more social until after midnight and does have a core crowd who come there even later after more vanilla clubbing.

Abfabs and VA both have unusual layouts, VA being the better of the two in terms of socialising, but Abfabs being the more interesting in terms of rooms to play in and has an amazing pool. VA is also the only one of the three to have on site accommodation.

People are right though, January is always a quiet month for parties, the next busy weekend will be there one nearest valentines day.

We tend to get there about 8.30 aswell. We can gaurantee you that there will be at least two other couples there on the 15th

lol.

Actually that's their valentines night party and the hotel is already fully booked. We are in the trace lodge down the road

Whenever these topics come up we always worry we sound a bit like a broken record but I would only recommend ab fabs if you have people you are going with or are meeting there as it has every facility under the sun, however to just rock up as 2 of you I would really _not_ recommend it as its really a very social club on a Saturday.

wow really so its more of a friends meet up than a chance for us to meet people and see where it goes?
