Hi all,

Can some people let us know what VA is like please? both as a club and as a hotel? We know there are club reviews on here but we have learnt not to always trust them as they can be fairly bias. We have been to plenty of clubs and know what we like and don't like.

The reason we are asking is we are looking at having a cheeky couple of days there as part of our honeymoon, so want to know that its ok. We once went to Tease2 and had a terrible experience of both club and 'hotel'.

I have only been twice ad it is quite far from me. I stayed over the first time and hotel (5min drive) on the 2nd time as they were full.

Clubs are so subjective so it really depends what you are looking for so I can only give my personal view on my own experience.

I found VA to be one of the nicest and friendliest clubs. It is upmarket and ultra clean. Very friendly staff and the facilities are beautiful! Lots of play areas but also a lovely chill out lounge area of the type you might find in a beautiful old country hotel.

The giant hot tub (size of a small kids swimming pool!) is always popular and you can relax oe play or enjoy the view around you..

They have a fully licensed bar and I think it is an extremely well run club.

The hotel rooms are small and adequate but clean and comfortable. Its perfect for being able to just wander up the stairs to bed when you are exhausted!

I thoroughly recommend it and stay there when you go but you need to book ahead for that.

Just to add...on both times I went with a FB. Not sure what it is like as a single woman but it feels easier as a couple in VA as somehow more geared to them I feel. But others may have different experiences.

Thanks for that, which nights did you go on? we were thinking Friday and Saturday but Friday allows single men. We dont mind them (but arent looking for them) but find it frustrating when clubs say they limit the numbers of men and then you go in to find hundreds!

Hi,

We've been to VA a fair few times now and love it!

We find it classy, clean and we always feel comfortable.

The hotel is also great, the rooms are small, but they are clean and ideal for staying over, rather than getting cabs back to a hotel.

We've never been on a Friday night so can't comment on single guys, but if VA say they're limited, i'd be inclined to trust them.

Really like VA as a club. Only been once on a Friday and singlemen are limited. A bit of a pain in the arse when you can't find a bed to play on because several of them have solitary single men sat on them though there is a couples only area now which may eliminate this.

As for the hotel, you are paying for the convenience of staying above the club rather than the rooms. Not all are ensuite and the showers aren't the most powerful. The rooms are nice enough though.

What is it about Tease 2 you did not like so we can help understand if you would like VA.

We have not stayed at the hotel but visited the club quite a few times. It is one of the classier ones in terms of decor and has a paid bar. I don't think it is the best club for a kinky dungeon feel but there is always sex going on.

Fridays are single men and Saturdays are generally couples and single women.

As it is a honeymoon, you guys probably want it to be special. What do you like to see at club and what type of people do you enjoy meeting or swinging with?

We have tried many of the clubs in the southeast. Abfabs, Pleasures, Hellfire, OP4F, Eurekas.

Tease 2 simply felt seedy, right next to a truck stop with a coffin size bedroom and pretty rubbish facilities. For a Saturday night it didn't even have many people there!

As far as what we like in clubs, we like good quality facilities and a good atmosphere (although we appreciate atmosphere is very subjective). Preferably somewhere people make an effort.

Sounds like the club will be great but you may want better rooms. They are great for wandering upstairs after a great night but as someone has said, you are paying for them being above the club rather than quality.

Having said that, we always stay and find them perfect.

The club has always been good on the Saturdays we have been, enough people even on the quieter nights from what we have seen and been told.

We have been to VA twice, the people are nice and yes it is clean, but for us who like privacy when playing it is too open for us, also can be expensive but that's just our view with a young family, we do really prefer somewhere u just pay to get in and take ur own drink's as not with here but some where it is a bar u can have to settle with a drink that is not ur fav if they don't have it, but everyone is different it all depends on what u like in a club x

Good facilities and good atmosphere is something that VA offers. It doesnt have grope/dark rooms, sauna, dungeons or a glory hole but does have a jacuzzi.

Just pick your night with Fridays allowing single men if it is your thing.

The one thing that stops us going more often is the lack of private playrooms. While exhibitionism and voyeurism are both things we enjoy, it's nice to have the choice. That said the play areas and pool really are special.

I agree that the play spaces are mostly open with a few secluded alcoves round the corners..which personally provide sufficient privacy for me. However there are no lockable rooms if that is your preference. ..So if you like to play privately then it might not be as good as other clubs....

That said, the playspaces are beautifully and sexily lit with no brighter ugly lights like some clubs...so whilst open, it does create a nice sexy but classy atmosphere.

It is such a personal thing but if it was my anniversary, I would certainly have VA on my shortlist.

As the single gents are limited and there is a strict code for them ( like many places) there is not the feeling there that I have had on occasion at other places of being followed round, and there is couples only area and little almost private areas too.. No lockable rooms in the main club but I feel not the same need for them as I have experienced once or twice elsewhere in the country

We've tried both VA and Tease and highly recommend VA...been several times including the Festival of Fun which was exceptional fun

We have thought about trying Jaydees because the reviews are great but notice that even on couples nights on your profile, single men are allowed albeit restricted which frankly puts us off trying...shouldn't couples nights be just that?

We have been three times,club itself is fine,clean etc but....no private areas with a door, you do end up naked most of the night as you have to strip to go near play areas and if busy end up queueing for a spot.

Overall not bad but not brilliant either

The single guys that come here on a Saturday are all verified or couples have recommended them to us. We are sure that if you came along here you will not be disappointed, most people wonder why they have left it so long to attend. This Saturday will be an extra good party as its Jaydees Birthday and 8 other members too. We sing happy birthday to all of them and get a cake too. We always have a good friendly fun night. Which is why we call it Jaydees House of Fun.

We love it there! We're there on the 15th Feb.

We find the club as other have said clean, classy and well laid out.

The seperate bar area is great, with the play areas just around the corner.

There are no glory holes or dark rooms or such like but then we don't look for that in our play so it doesn't bother us.

We have stayed in the club hotel on every other visit and as already said they are basic but servicable. They're cheap so it is a nice convenience to have. Though this time we are staying down the road at the local travelodge as others we are accompanying couldn't get in at the club so as it's their first time we thought we better keep them company

We LOVE VA. It's definitely worth a visit, the facilities are fantastic and the pool area is so sociable with massive beds right next to them which makes for some easy playtime after chatting in the pool.

The hotel is good but some rooms are nicer than others so book well in advance and ask for their nicest rooms (the staff are lovely so if you explain it's your honeymoon I'm sure they will look after you.

even as a cpl who can no longer attend jaydee's which is 1 of the 3 in the area we will always say don't pass it by! you need to try it! Most of the people are amazing and the atmosphere is 2nd to none every night u go weather it be quiet or mega busy and Mr.JD is above the best host u will ever meet! and we have tried all 3 in the area! ur 1st we would never ventue to again even if paid! VA if we had the money and they put in a few totally private area's yes we would try again! jaydees week in week out we would go to

The VA is fabulous but it is crying out for some private play rooms. Everywhere is public....we recently attended Liberty Elite and they have some which depending on your preferences cater for all.

I agree ... Have attended jaydees a couple of times , not a lot of single men allowed, I was one of the lucky ones , never seen any rude behaviour or stalking going on there just lots of really friendly people having a laugh and lots of sexy fun , ..... Great atmosphere, very chilled and lots of fun rooms and areas to try . Highly recommended.
