Sea Mountain Inn?

Has anyone been to Sea Mountain Inn in Deserts Springs, California recently? We stayed there a couple of years ago and are planning to go back in the new year but we've recently heard that the place has nose dived in terms of cleanliness and safety!

It will be a real shame if it has because we absolutely loved the place during our first visit buy hey-ho I guess nothing ever stays the same.
