So is Silverleigh a Swinger's place or not?

OK it's a naturist place run for naturists, great indoor pool, sauna and hot tubs, so good for indoors in winter, whereas Eurekas is better in the summer as you can sunbathe outside and it has the field.

BGHS is supposed to be a naturist place, but has the restrooms which everyone uses.

So Silverleigh has the restrooms, but the whole play/swinging aspect is played down and limited - no double bed playrooms, no big couples room.

However, it is attended by lots of swingers from the scene, people we have met at other clubs, Eureka and Pleasures also attend Silverleigh. And yes, we do all play

You don't get the big party nights like you do at Eurekas, but you don't get a place full of fully dressed people either

(and as we said elsewhere our fave Eureka night is still Naked Fridays - we go to a party at a naturist place to dance naked with other naturists)

Silverleigh is not listed on the Clubs here, so doesn't get the "coverage" the other clubs do, and we only went there on a recommendation and an invite - but we love the place!

So what does everyone else reckon? Is it a swingers place? And as a lot of swingers do go there and do play, should it have a club listing?

Hey you two,

last time we saw you was at bghs wasn't it!

The spa is more open plan, all next to the indoor pool, so it's a great winter venue. Eurekas, of course, is unequaled during the summer months.

As for the playing, the rest rooms are small and lockable and, though nothing on the scale of BGHS, yes discreet play does go on there. The TV room plays adult films, nothing like the Eureka couples room, but a def "adult" area.

All the couples we have met there so far are swingers, most of whom we have seen elsewhere, and people who go to Pleasures talk about it and have tried it.

Friday night is Couples Only, so best suggest we all get down there. It's only as good as the people who go!

Hi, yes it was BGHS! We were there on Sunday this week.

Yeah I think we should have a trip down there, I am really missing the pool at Eurekas, so Silverleigh seemed like the only option. So many mixed reviews on it. Planning an AbFab trip soon too if you are interested.

We were at Silverleigh Sunday.

We don' do Ab Fab as it's too far, and we're starting to think the same about BGHS, unless we want a trip to Brighton anyway.

It's whether Silverleigh Couples Night Friday becomes a proper swingers night - more subtle like a BGHS Sat or more obvious like a Pleasures Sat.

We'll see.

I would say Silverleigh is a swingers place. Although the rooms leave a lot to be desired I haven't come across any difficulties when playing in the steam room, pool or Jacuzzi - other then the observers which are an occupational hazard - not a problem as such.

Get down there get naked and get playing - that's what I say - especially in these colder months

Change of plans.

Due to some commitments and friends not being available at short notice we'll be going to Silverleigh NEXT friday, the 31st Jan for Couple night.

It's 8 to 12 so a fast and furious few hours, out by midnight. Better than BGHS kicking us out at half ten on a Sat night, not as good as Pleasures going on til 3am. All about balance.

So if you're calendar is clear, get yourself there next Fri and see what it's all about.

Oh yeah - Silverleigh is definitely a swinger's venue

(that makes a good status as well)

Well at any rate it is on a Fri night, Couples only, and a lot of couples go there to play.

There is sex in the pool, always a favourite of ours, (but no full swaps in the pool due to condoms being impossible).

However the main rec room is a different story - the bed was laid out and made up so people get to perform, watch, and swap. And there is porn played constantly on the screen. Not as grand as the Eureka Couples room granted, but then it creates a different form of intimacy.

Like BHGS it is fully naturist so you strip off on arrival, put your clothes in the locker, and walk round carrying or wearing your towel (carrying is better

) There are no fully dressed people walking round like some clubs do on party nights, this is ALWAYS naked party.

So although not listed as a swingers venue on here, or promoted as such (like Eurekas it is promoted publicly as an adults on naturist retreat), it certainly caters for swingers on a Fri night and makes every effort.

And not forgetting those friends who just soft swap, want to use the private rooms, or just want to watch - everyone is catered for.

So following Caroline and Lee's suggestion it would be highly worth getting a group of us down there on a Fri night.

We've all lined up side by side and fucked on the bed at BGHS and Eureka - let's line up and fuck side by side in the pool at Silverleigh!

Silverleigh - don't bother.

Life guard at the pool side watching every move. No cuddling up in the pool or jacuzzi let alone have sex in the pool. Very seventies! Silk flowers every where ( dusty ) worn out dirty carpets. 1/2 hour there was long enough to learn it's dreadful. Or just not for us anyway.

We have had sex in the pool and tub and joined me witnessed other couples doing so.

A level of discretion is good, do it subtle rather than make it look like an orgy.

It certainly is more relaxed and more wild on party nights, especially ones like tomorrow which go on past midnight.

Suggest you try the party night and see the contrast from the perhaps stricter afternoons.

Some people mistake Silverleigh for BGHS which has strict rules and boundaries with playing in the spa zero tolorance but anything goes upstairs.

Don't bother going to Silverleigh. I would actually go as far as to say it's neither a naturist club or Swingers club mearly a place for men to go to ogle and be naked and weird togwtger. Very very poor facilities needs loads of updating. Rooms are horrendous and the food is disgusting. There are no events in the evening time very poorly organised it says it has a therapist but there never in Eventhough they tell you they will be.then inside there are a load of advertising for a new therapist. It's no good for young people in the scene infact don't do it!!!

Need serious tlc and revamping! I was very disappointed for what we received. Won't be going again. We even went out one of the nights to eureka it was that bad.as I had a really odd guy follow me round we a hard on and this was just during the day.

It isn’t perfect, but since the review a couple of posts up it has had a lick of paint and the lounge has been completely refurbed.

It has a fresher, cleaner feel now.

Yes there are single men, but we don’t find them that much of a problem.

If you are a couple we’d suggest going on a Friday night which is couples only.

Much more relaxed, more rooms open, no single fellas and always lots and lots of fun happening. Also stays open until midnight in a Friday.

We’d recommend it.

Its still silverliegh, its not a swingers club nor a naturist club... its a bit of both. The pool is too cold ( for me) the steam room is good (if you pour water on the sensor) the sauna is ok. The club has been 'refubished' new visitors wouldnt notice it though. Hot tubs are ok, catering is five star (price wise).

Parking is good, lockers are good, rest rooms are peculiar.

Its silverliegh it wont change its not bad or good.

Friday nights is swingers night for couples, ive never had the urge to attend on a friday night so no idea about it.

I went (as a couple) to bghs once (never again)

Depends what you want... its no spielplatz nor is it chameleons ... its silverliegh its one of a kind i often visit, i have no idea why and im never disappointed cos it is what it is.

Just back having had my first visit to Silverleigh.

The pool is so cold my normally small penis became an embarrassment other than that it was clean, the staff were friendly and, for me, I didn't have to wear a towel if I wasn't in the pool.

There was the usual number of 'restless' men who clearly weren't getting what they'd hoped for therefore didn't know whether to go in the pool, the sauna, steam room, sauna, walk about, sit down, masturbate or have a cigarette but everyone was friendly enough and I think Silverleigh holds a greater attraction for me than some of the other well known clubs

Just back from staying at Silverleigh overnight, a great place to go and relax, there’s always a bit of play too, but it’s not as prevalent as at other busier venues which are more hardcore so to speak. You just have to be careful and observe the rules

It depends what you want from a visit. It’s usually pretty quiet in the week, and ladies are a bit thin on the ground, but it’s always good for a relaxing time
