Always been really clean when I've been.

There's some clubs I've been to that I'll not go back to because they weren't as clean as chams

We go there on a regular basis and always find it very clean... But saying that there is always some dirty barstewards that can't at least clean up there own mess, there is always plenty of bins about.

Based on the fact that the place is generally rammed over the weekends and pretty busy the rest of the week I doubt very the club owners will be losing toooooo much sleep over the opinions of a few anonymous keyboard entries

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

It depends what you classify as dirty!

I`ve been to Chams, Dalaston on numerous occasions and I marvel at how well kept the club is despite being open almost every day of the YEAR! How they manage to make the changes they`ve made over the years I`ve been going, let alone day to day maintainance I`ll never know. You`ll see changes, some suttle that unless you`re a regular you wouldn`t notice. Others are very obvious, the new kitchen, sun deck and extra hotel rooms all spring to mind. I think some people regards the dress code as dirty but then I`m not so much a fan of the night club style of club. I`m no dancer, I`m not comfortable with music of any volume other than background thanks to a hearing problem so a dance club doesn`t suit me.

Horses for courses I think! I love Chams, I love the atmosphere there and even though I`ve never "scored" there as a single guy, I would recommend it to anyone! Dirty and seedy? Only if you behave that way!!!

Well I wouldn't want to see it with the lights on - or worse still with UV lights

But I wouldn't say it's ever been dirty when we've been - a bit run down/tired but always pretty neat.

always been clean when I've been. Only ever noticed one condom on the floor, but thats down to the lazy sod who couldn't be arsed to put it in a bin.

It could do with antibac in the rooms, but like Evie said, would it be used? its not always used at Cupids, again down to lazy people, especially the squirters who just get up and leave their puddles.

We go as often as time allows.. but have recently found it a bit dirty.. now we have been in the day.. and yes by dirty I mean people not cleaning up after themselves...

But still.. it didn't used to be an issue as I have been attending for years... And just lately it seems that people don't seem to care.

However there is also little in way of cleaning stuff to encourage this.

Still a great club.. just don't like having to clean up before getting down to it.

Putting your head back in the Jacuzzi and finding a used condom is ewww..

all clubs suffer from inconsiderate patrons too lazy too clean up after themselves and a club cannot be held accountable for such inexcusable inconsideration towards other club members. We've experienced this behaviour at several places we've visited over the years (we always clean up before and after using a room and I always take wipes with me as I see it as my responsibility to clean up after myself, not someone elses.)

some clubs may suffer more than others due to numbers using them at the time and staff not always being able to get into rooms to clean them before someone wants to use them again.

If everyone was considerate and cleaned up after themselves when using facilities and playing in a club then I think there would be less people slagging clubs off in chat or on here in the forum for things that are down to individual people not venues.

This is true - however I think it's unavoidable that a club is in large part as good as those that attend it. If scummy people attend a venue it will inevitably gain a certain reputation.

I know the couple of times I have been and it has been below standard its been beer cans dumped in plant pots or at the side of the jacuzzi and there was one monday night the tiny room was left in horrible state with dirty condoms on the bed and puddles of various bodily fluids we reported this to staff who immediatly went to clean up. But this is down to people using the club not the club itself. We have been going weekly for 2 years now and on 2 occasions it's been below standard that's good going

I understand what your saying, but to a degree you have to not think about it otherwise you'd never stay in hotels or anything.

I agree with what people have said in that I believe in the principle of leaving something the way you'd expect to find it, and as a user of the facilities should take on an element of responsibility of cleaning up after oneself.

We were there Saturday and thought everywhere was spotless.

As members of around a dozen clubs including ones in Scotland,London,Poole, the Midlands,Manchester,North East and some of the outdoor/naturist clubs.. Chameleons is definitely one of(if not THE).. cleanest and best clubs ! Of course, the staff can only do so much.. If the clientele decide to leave used condoms and not clean up after themselves its not the clubs fault (Staff will clean up when they see it!).

Wouldn't class ourselves as snobs but we do have a very good standard of living and have been known to walk straight out of some clubs because of the cleanliness and their policy of who gets in !(one club was letting stagg do's in !)..

After going to Chameleons for over a decade , we have seen the owner invest a massive amount of money into the club ... and it shows! Two big Jacuzzi's(monitored regularly), a sauna, a steam room , a big cinema room, ladies only powder room, 3 toilets, showers, separate changing for single guys , dance floor , dungeon ... massive outdoor sun area decked out and NOT OVERLOOKED !!..

Try it out guys !

depends how busy it is and what time of night, I have never found it to be dirty when its quiet or at the beginning of the night, I have however been in rooms on a busy night and the last people have left it a tip, bed wet thro, used tissue over the bed, condoms on the floor, I suppose if it was your first time and you walked into that it could put you off, but at the end of the day that's down to the customers not the club, some people have no respect for other peoples property

This is a very accurate statement and as Chams is the busiest club in the country, its more likely to suffer from this than most, although it does have more staff on when its busier. As a general note though we would say they're very effective at cleaning the place nd not found it to be anything but very clean when we have gone.

A club is always dependent to a degree on people cleaning up after themselves if its going to be seen as spotless every second. Its just a question of how fast the staff can get in and clean once someone has vacated a room or playing area. But clubs that pay good attention to this always stand out. Club F is another good one, as are VA and Liberty Elite in this regard.

I think all clubs will have issues with cleanliness at times, most of the time it's not the clubs fault but the clientele. I have seen many changing areas nice and clean at the beginning of the night, but covered in makeup and false hair at the end.

Some people are just inconsiderate and don't think they should clean up after themselves.

I for one am looking forward to visiting chams soon, as I have heard great things about this club x

We would go along with that if you go early its always clean and well presented more so than a lot of clubs we have been to. Ok at the end of the evening all clubs have glasses left round and you know people have been there but any place that is popular is going to be that way.

You can't please all though and you will find some people will bitch for the sake of it about a place because their experience wasn't fruitful and there will be a little spite in some peoples comments its just a matter of seeing through and making your own decisions on it.
