Thinking of going to Adventures next Saturday, like the sound of the Lock and Key party. Has anyone been to anything like this before and what is it like.

Adventures is a cracking club and always good turnout wise on a themed party night. This week they are giving away £120's worth of sex toys so the night may just go down as a classic.

From what I can gather each couple has a lock and key given to them on entry and there will be 2 keys matching 2 locks out of the lot. You have to go and mingle in a bid to find a lock that fits your key. Should be fun that especially if some girls keep their locks well hidden!

2 winning couples at the end of the night

If you have not been before and you want to know more about the club then try both of their websites. The latter being for desktops.

not everyone has had a good experience there!!

we went on NYEve and it was awful, very clicky and everyone knew each other

We were there NYE and there was over 200 people in the club. The place was buzzing. Hard to imagine them all knowing each other even on ACID!

We go at least once a month and only knew a handful NYE.

However good a club is it will never be to everyone's taste so the best rule of thumb is to go see for yourselves.

I always take a look at the profiles that say a club is bad and then look at the profiles that say a club is good. If we are similar to the good camp we go and if we are similar to the bad camp we still go but with no expectations.

If a club manages to fill itself then you can ask no more of it. The rest is up to us.

If I couldn't get my head around that then i'd take up skittles!

The truth of the matter is Adventures is a very devisve club due to the culture that surrounds it and the other Stoke based clubs so its hard to get a real answer on these forums.

The club itself is an ex nightclub that has been converted and is nice, though it lacked shower facilities of any sort last we were there (not sure if it still does).

It can and is one of the worst on the cliquey front and people who say this arent terribly wrong generally everyone "knows" everyone there so there is that aspect of it, however there are plenty of fun and friendly people that go and the guys that own it/work the bar are all very friendly and easy to chat too and hanging around the bar area will get you conversations with some people

You're best off going yourself and making your mind up, its a bit of a marmite club and best to go with that in mind

P.s the everyone knows everyone thing is because the hosts are so good, they treat you like a regular from the very first visit

I will be going to lock and key night. Really looking forward to it. Also I was there NYE. I can honestly say I know lots of really friendly people in there and I am not part of any click and neither are the people I know so not sure why you felt like that. We are all friendly and approachable just say hi and you will see
