"We are considering this as an option here, guest preference of course, but think the code system should be for soft swing, hard swing, non-involved, etc as couples, rather than a sexual indicator. Might just make those intro chats a little easier. Will watch this thread with interest." I think this is an excellent idea!

"Why not Red and yellow ..... straight / soft swing Blue and pink .... bi / hard swing Red and green .... straight / not playing Red goes to straight other colour what they are there for. " Simplicity! As already mentioned, if its too complicated, it ruins the point of doing it.

"Couples Only Nights: Red = Hard Swing Amber = Soft Swing Green = Not sure yet Mixed Nights Black = Single Guy Looking to play Red = Couple looking for Hard Play Orange = Couple looking for Soft Play Green = Couple not sure, need persuasion. If not wearing one, then we like to chat and see where it goes." For us the bi side would be important and would like an indicator. And on mixed nights an indicator to say couples only would work, wouldn't go to a mixed night in case of hassle, indicator would help

"Oh and if its anything like in here, half the bi guys would be wearing straight bands incase no one wanted to play with them" Ha, so true, but they'd be missing out on all the guys, women and couples that like to get involved in or watch bi play. All the more for me, where's that wrist band?

Also on mixed nights, a colour to show couples who are looking for single guys..at least this gives the single guys a chance to see who to approach.

"I attended a club in Lelystad Netherlands called Go Go Nuts a few years ago (It was eventually taken over by the Le Baron group of clubs) On certain nights... One Glow band was issued to single guys only, the guys would give you their glow bang as they called it, in exchange for a fuck (after all girls that’s what we're there for!) at the end of the night you received 20 euros in return for each glow bang you handed in. Now thats what you call a win-win-win situation!" So in effect it's a free lance brothel

"Whether I'm playing or not depends on if anyone takes my fancy - if lots do I'm at it all night, if noone does I just socialise and go home. So being asked to choose on entry if I want to play or not would be impractical." Agrees with this... Upon entry to a club we never really know how the night is going to go

"We have this really new system for finding out what people are into... are you ready ? it is called talking and listening... who knows it might catch on.. " dont forget to add body language.. if people are (not) interested it's easily detectable, by anyone who has a grasp of social interaction.

"We think the word "Optional" should definitely be thrown into this debate." Totally agree, the second it becomes a fixed rule you would alienate too many people. I would bet over time though the vast majority would want to wear them

"I'm a bit disappointed that talking to people you may not want to play with but who might have something fun or interesting to say is described as "wasting your time" and here was me finally coming round to the idea of clubs and there being no pressure..." I don't think it's a waste of time and chat to lots of people with no expectation of ever playing with them. As a new 'clubber' though, I found it a bit daunting. Coded bands would have helped me, in fact, I did ask management if they had ever used them. They said people didn't bother with them so it was a waste of time.

"I wish clubs had bangles to let you know what people are into Red - bi Black - straight Pink - gay Green - not playing etc etc Would be great for nervous newbs, and can be worn without clothing What does the forum think? " Hellfire club does this, using ultra-violet wrist bands so they can be seen in the dark. Brilliant idea...
