Can't speak about Adam and Eve's as we've not been there, but went to Cupids two weeks ago at the Social and very impressed with it. Large number of well appointed play rooms, excellent staff, well organised bar arrangements and they don't tolerate wankers...

Will have to try Adam and Eve's next time we're 'ooop norf'...

As I am a single female and frequent Cupids I have to say this it the complete opposite of anything I have experienced there. I have found the staff nothing but supportive of me and regularly check im ok. As for the single men there I have found them all to be extremely respectful. Of course I am not saying the occasional bad egg dosnt slip through the net... However I am 100% sure if I spoke to the management they would take my claim seriously.

I cannot say the same of Adam and Eves as my only visit there lasted less than 2 mins.

I do not believe that whatsoever.

We have been swinging for 10+ years, have attended clubs all over the country and throughout Europe too and Cupids must be one of the strictest clubs we have attended when it comes down to tolerating single guys behaviour.

The amount of single females who do attend regularly (and there are quite a few!) will hold testament to that.

I don't believe that either. I go on my own and have never encountered any problems. I feel 100% confident that if I had a problem that it would be taken seriously and action would be taken.

our friend is not a liar. we have been to this club ourselves a number of times and found it to quite unfriendly and have seen things going on in there that would not be allowed to happen in any other club we have been to.

I think people have different experiences at different times, We were at Cupids last night and I'd say that the biggest problem was that the single guys were too reserved!

But I have been to Cupids for a social where a group of people started to indulge in some behaviour in the social area that was soon stopped and when said people started arguing, out the door they went.

And then we went to another social a few months back where the same kind of behaviour was happening again even more blatantly and nothing was said.

Being honest I dont find it particularly friendly, there seem to be little groups that stay together, but perhaps its something we are doing, we do find it a nice relaxed atmosphere though

The behaviour you've talked about I've also experienced in Partners with a guy following people around complaining that he'd paid to get into a 'sex club' and wasnt getting any, didnt get chance to complain as someone indulged him to shut him up.

As a single lady in Cupids, the staff look out for me and check that I'm ok. One guy was thrown out for not taking no for an answer by myself and others,

As for little groups forming, I just plonk myself down and ask do they mind if I sit with them, then I get involved with their conversations. No point sitting there like a lemon!

They dont tolerate d*unks, arguments or people trying to cause a nuisense (sp?), so therefore I go back time and time again.

Cant comment on A&E as I've never been, but seems a great place if your a greedy girl.

what a load of tosh give us a break if this did happen the guy would of been asked to leave and all staff are well versed in how to deal with that kind of action and did she tell you what night it was and what year tell the single lady to please ring the club and give us details about the night in question and we will look into it

It was blatantly obvious from your first post you had an axe to grind with Cupids and have seemingly fabricated a horror story about a 'pestered single female'... I hope others will see that there are plenty of us single females that use Cupids on a regular basis because we feel safe and welcomed and the fact we return speaks volumes.

I would also like to say the single men I have witnessed in Cupids have all been extremely respectful.. and as someone before pointed out.. sometimes even too reserved for my liking

I would also like to point out that I do not work for either establishment

All getting a bit heated! Both clubs in my opinion have respective merits. That said I think Cupids is the more spacious. Generally I have never ever witnessed harassment in either club. I, like most single guys, are respectful and genuine when in a club environment.

sorry but having been as a single female myself and knowing many single females that Go, I can not imagine them being so popular if this was the case.

I went as a total newbie and was totally looked after..but maybe it was a one off.

As to unfriendly, I find all clubs to have groups of established people and people that know each other... You just have to go talk and get involved..

I go with my playmate but we see it so often, couples or singles just sat there not making contact.. then they complain.

We went to Cupids for the first time a couple weeks ago, we had a great night it felt like we'd being going for years, like it states on our profile we was yet to find a club we liked and Cupids is this club! We was down in the rooms and one of the owners came to us and said if you have any trouble with any single men (as we was getting a little gathering and following us around) he stated let us know (off his own back) and they will happily speak to anyone we was having problems with, this made us feel even more at home and confident with being in the club. The staff were GREAT, extremely friendly and didn't make us feel like they was coming on to us or putting pressure on to us like the other clubs we had been too! We had a Little chat with the owners at the end of the night and they was lovely, we're planning our next night but this time staying in a hotel. Can't comment on Adam and Eve's as we've never been but when we was choosing most people sided with Cupids which was this reason we chose Cupids. Xx
