What is wrong with Thursdays?

On a few occasions we have tried to get a Thursday club night up and running as not many places are open on a Thursday evening. No problems on a Wednesday or Friday. Even local pubs follow this trend.

We can always get a sitter on Thursday but no one is about. Why do you think this is?

Maybe it is too close to the weekend and they would prefer to spend their time n money then ??

Think that is a factor but easier to get a sitter midweek. For us anyway.
