Single male attending clubs

I’ve never been to a club, but really interested in trying. I genuinely would just like to go to meet other people in the scene, hear stories and make connections.

The ladies I’ve met on here have told me that there tend to be lots of single men, lurking in the corners generally putting people off. Is this true? I really don’t want to add to that. I’m really a very social person. I always end up chatting to people when I’m out, but I’m always with friends when I approach others. I feel like strangers are much more willing to chat to you if they see you are not a social pariah. Very different if you are alone. Are the club nights actually friendly and open to single males approaching?

OP, the operative phrase in your description about single men in clubs is "lurking in the corners". Some men who attend clubs seem to be absolutely terrified of talking to people, they just tend to follow people around, do "zoomies" around the club as if they were training for a marathon, as what if there is some "action" happening in another corner of the place and they're missing out on it? Some also seem to think that, just by being there, often with their cocks out, women and couples are just going to fall on their laps. As long as you don't belong to any of those categories, you're happy to chat with strangers rather than just staring at them like you haven't eaten for a month and they are food, then you'll be fine. But do try and TALK to people! Not just the ones you find really attractive, but just anyone. And you should be fine.

Swindon ish

There are some clubs that are really friendly. Swindon Swingers do a night, once a month, called remix. It's open to anyone and everyone.

Great for an intro to clubs.
