Our advice is- do it! Honestly, it’s nerve wracking, but once you’re inside and you’ve a G&T in your hand, you’ll settle. It’s like going to a normal nightclub, but no dickheads- nobody will punch you in the mouth for looking at his missus. Everybody is there knowing full well what they were doing, and that’s cool. We’d say, go with no expectation. Have a dance, have a drink, see where it takes you. But do not drink too much- easy to say, but we got hammered and it was a mistake. Oh- no-one will pounce on you either- boundaries are well respected. Don’t be afraid to say “sorry, it’s a no, have a great night, see you later!” if they’re not for you. And who knows- you might just find the mood takes you to one of the rooms. Good luck! |
