What to wear for guys

Hi all. I'm thinking of going to my first swingers club very soon and although there's a lot on the forum regarding what women wear, there's not a great deal of advice for the guys.

I know it's smart casual, but does that mean jeans or it chinos more appropriate. I also like going commando but for clubs is it better to wear a pair of boxers.

Any more advice for newbies at clubs would be much appreciated.

Thanks x.

It depends on the dress code of the club as to wether they allow jeans.as far as commando or boxers i would say that is your choice but on the whole i would say most men wear boxers as i only see a handful of guys walkinground completly naked or you could just wear a towel

The dress code is smart casual, that's all I've been told. It's a dry club so there's no towels and have to remain clothed in the bar area, which is why I'm wondering what to wear. I don't want to overdressed or equally under dresses.

Would be much easier if I could just wear a towel lol.

Something with a button fly instead of a zip. Small detail but trust me, it can make a difference!

I'm intruigued at this comment. I wear both types ie with a zip or with buttons. Why does it make a difference to have a button fly?

I prefer buttons coz

easier to rummage

hassle free pop out

less chance of "oouch"

Most clubs stipulate if jeans are allowed you can always just ring and ask.

I go for smart trousers and a fitted shirt and sometimes a skinny tie. Although the club we go to does ask that you make an effort.

Some people do dress like they are going to there first school disco. Only seen one man walk around naked seen plenty of women though love that confidence.

On a related note, check if the club provides condoms or if it's BYO. Although you might prefer to take your own anyway.

Whatever you are comfortable in that also meets the clubs dresscode. Most specify no jeans if that is the case.

No matter what club I got to, whether wet or dry club, I always arrive in Trousers, Shirt and shoes. If it's a wet club then straight to the lockers and into a towel. If it's a dry club then when in the bar area I'm comfy, when I go to the play rooms etc I strip off as and when needed (I always go comando), the get dressed when it's time to rehydrate

Always take a look at a club's website before attending if it's you're first visit or if you haven't been for a while. If you're still not 100% sure on dress code or anything else, contact the club, they will be happy to help you aout as they don't like turning people away at the door if they can help it.

north/south

Always better to be overdressed than underdressed and looking scruffy.

Amazes me the amount of people just don't make any effort when they go to clubs.
