Important information!!

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I hope this message finds you well.

I wanted to personally update you all and clear up any rumours that may be circulating regarding The Gate House in Farnworth, Bolton.

After recent discussions with the new landlord of The Mill, Ali Properties, we have been asked to vacate the premises by September 2026. The reason given relates to the religious beliefs of the landlord and the concerns of elders within their community, who are uncomfortable with the nature of the club and its inclusive support of the LGBTQ+ and transgender community.

That said, Ali Properties have been respectful enough to allow us to continue operating for another 12 months, giving us time to find a new home. We are very grateful for this and ask that everyone continues to be polite and respectful in any interactions with them, as we are still in open discussions and hopeful that a solution may still be found.

Please know this:

The Gate House is not closing — it is moving.

If anyone knows of any suitable venues or premises that might accommodate us, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Your help and support mean everything.

I do wish we had known about this earlier — especially before starting the recent renovations — but we are where we are, and we will move forward together.
