Just so you're aware, OP, neither of those clubs are in Stevenage. VA (or Vanilla Alternative) is near Sandy, off A1, and Penthouse Playrooms is in Dunstable. If, by any chance, you have to rely on public transport, Penthouse is more accessible, in my opinion.

Both clubs require membership, and that needs to be sorted before turning up. Penthouse Playrooms does have some non-members tickets but not sure if they are available for single men, might be couples and single ladies only. Do check their website.
