Yet many men would still happily pay, and that's what clubs rely on. Swinging is not a cheap hobby, particularly if you're a single man. That £80 entrance fee must be for a special event though as usually the prices are around £40 on average.

100%. It’s be an absolute sausage fest if it was cheaper.

Feel for me as the husband with a wife who likes sexy lingerie. You should see how much my wife’s boots and corsets set me back.

I’m sure it’s cheaper to be a single guy when factor in all the stuff women and couples buy.

Exactly! Us ladies spend way more than the single guys entry fee factor in shoes, outfits ,hair makeup nails..

Is that the club where they (or at least they used to) hire some extra lady help for the gentlemen attending?

A responsible club would cap the number of guys or keep to a sensible ratio.

I feel that charging guys a stupidly higher price would more likely ENCOURAGE bad behaviour and entitlement.

Although it's tends to be a bit pricier for single guys that sounds a lot. The last club I seen charging those kid of prices for a guy also had a few "hostess" ladies working the club. And the venue kind of suggested there would be some interaction with the hostess' for the price. Yet also welcomed single ladies and couples a low price and plenty of evidence/reviews of couples that actually do go.

So if a place is charging those sort of prices look into it more, it may be part knocking shop. Which of course may or may not be for you but at least be informed before hand.

. I am guessing it’s the club Le Boudoir in the Aldgate area.It is a member’s only club where you have to apply for membership and wait to be accepted or rejected.I am not a member there as my membership was rejected some years ago which is fair enough they probably get many applications as there are not many clubs in London.

Most I've paid is £45- I probably wouldn't go if it was over £50 especially as I treat it mostly as a social event and expect not to get to 'play'. Can't even have a drink as I've invariably ridden there.

A normal night out with a woman doesn’t involve a near 4 hour round trip drive, or planning around single guy entry restrictions. Factor in how few single ladies actually attend clubs, plus mutual attraction, IF you manage to get a word in due to the other single guys hoping to make a connection, and all of a sudden, a normal night out in town, when you’re just a normal guy in a pub, becomes more appealing…..

Clubs CAN be fun as a single guy, but in my experience, they’re more miss than hit, and you meet more women in your local Wetherspoons…..😋

"Yes I know single men's price is more expensive but that's nearly £100"

I just dropped 1000 on a holiday in Cap d'Agde in France as a single woman.

That is flights and accommodation which I split with one of my playmates.

outfits

food

drink

manicure-30

pedicure-30

entry to various establishments as a couple.

One of the establishments just put the price up for single men to their foam and pool party to 500 Euros!

I mean O-F is cheapest as is the local drug addicted sex worker.

Or you could work on getting a nice girlfriend/fuckbuddy/playmate who will share cheap costs with you.

Good luck young Padwan.

I only ended up buying 3 drinks in Le Glamour Beach foam and pool party. bottle water, rose wine and Pepsi. One guy offered me a glass of wine from his groups bottle and I and my play mate shared it. We are not big drinkers. Also we had drinks at dinner, bar social and club later on.

I need to pace due to a neurodivergent perimenopausal brain and no one likes having sex with a non-sober man or woman.

If it was that simple why would most clubs have couples only nights; they would allow single guys every night and rake in more cash.

Why do most clubs limit the number of single guys per evening; just allow allow as many single guys that want to come and rake in the cash.

I'm sure most clubs try to find a balance that meets the supply and demand to make their club financially viable.

Word is from people on an extended holiday in Cap is that on 1st July it was 100 Euros for single men to the foam party 9th of July, it was 500 euros for single men.

I wish I could say for sure it improved the behaviour of single men...it did not. Lol! It just made less of them to deal with. Lol!

In this lifestyle unless you can't be a people pleaser, you have to practice saying no in many languages and passively, asservtively and aggressively and this is also towards the women/couples.

Definitely had to dodge a few female hands wandering towards my pussy in the pool and foam without a conversation first! Seems my straightness was a bit of a cockblock so I told my male playmate next time he has to take his other bi female playmates. If he pulls it off he will be walking in with 2/3 ladies like a Sultan with a harem! Lol!

In my case they can take over when my low libido and fatigue hits! Lol! See why I like group play even if I'm not bi!

Or the fact that single guys can put off everyone else! straight women, couples and LGBTQIA people.

I was lying on a bed playing with a male playmate. A trans woman asked if she could touch me and a single man just went in reaching for my thigh with no request for consent.

Single guys make a lot of my male playmates uncomfortable because they can be too pushy and in some cases downright rude and entitled.

Not all single guys are like this but to be honest the decent ones will always have a woman to go places as a couple, even if they don't play together. One lady at my local club goes with her male flatmate and her male friends while she and they play with other people.

My regular clubs have single guys who are regulars and get on well with the staff and other regulars.

Some places don't want to deal with couples complaints and some places invest in a private area for single men and separate for couples and single women.

Another party that I went to basically vetted everyone and made sure the numbers were even and everyone paid the same price.

Many parties are couples only because the organisers just don't want the hassle of dealing with single men and the problems that come with them.

I think Fab webcams are cheaper? Lol! I met a few of the local D & A working ladies and they really don't charge much at all. We are more worried for their safety as they often get attacked more than a high-class sex worker.

It's a shame that there's not more clubs up north which do singles on a Friday and couples on a Saturday

Some sort of variation where everyone pay the same price and if people aren't interested in single blokes they have a night to go when they're not attending. Might solve some issues with blokes feeling like they're getting ripped off.

Me going who is taking 4 hours round trip for se...

oh wait an older single guy in Cumbria...yup that makes sense. Hugs

Meanwhile my older playmates down in London are just getting women to pop up at their homes with no travel for them. Lol!

Pluses and minuses of living in London vs living in the countryside.

I moved to London because after 6 years of Living in Nottingham..I'd already been to every bar, restaurant, club and shop with the same people. Lol! I got bored.

Now I'm older, I can't keep up with everything going on in London. Lol! But the beauty is that I don't have to. Some of my playmates are attending events and communicating with 10 different sites and apps! I don't have that kind of energy.

Socials, parties, clubs and events every night of the week all within less than an hour's travel. if you fancy it. the men that can afford it can and want it don't complain. One of my playmates can't afford going out a lot but he has women come to his all the time....including his wife. Lol!

Find your niche and stick to it, I say.

In theory a gangbang sounds great to me...in reality being touched by so many men at once would probably trigger the heck out of me and ruin everyone's night. Lol!

sidenote.. if you are a male swinger, you can approach couples to play in clubs...you don't have to play with the man if you are a straight male..... As a single straight woman, I talk to couples all of the time even if I'm not playing with the woman...

Mostly an up north problem...... It's very easy for me, as London has so much going on, that I can go as a couple or go as a single female but honestly, single females are not the lifeblood of clubs. Between Mothering and Menopause, it doesn't leave us with much libido in general.

Singles-only night would probably have no females as then they are competing with the relationship dating events. LGBTQIA events are better attended than places and nights that allow lots of single men.

Not sure about the 8-hour round trip..I can't advise that...maybe be easier to pay a sex worker to be honest or an actual lover.

Cost-benefit analysis, I guess.

Sorry that you have had your head snapped off. Most of us in my local clubs just end up chatting a lot and one time I wasn't really feeling very sexy/ confident ( mood swings) so I let a young Scouse lad give me back rub. But mostly we just chatted naked in the spa bit.

My swinger acquaintances from down south seem to love the northern clubs and a few are single men so I dunno what they are doing to enjoy it.

I met a couple of ex-navy guys in France and they said they go to one near Nottingham regularly happily. Unless Midlands/East Midlands is different again from Cumbria?

I am generally socially awkward ( autism) but I just try anyway and apologise to people if I put them off. I don't always go with the expectation of sexual interaction..mostly just relax and be a voyeur.

I think neurotypicals can sense more when people are super tense/sexually frustrated and I think that puts them off.

Maybe try some closer non-sexual socials? We have a lot of non-sexual socials in London. For kinksters, fetish-ers, swingers and nudists. Can take the pressure off I find and you get to make new connections that you can eventually play with.

As a single woman and with a play partner I've had things go a bit wrong too with couples so you are not alone. Lol!

You are dealing with the dynamics of two people instead of one and making sure they are all happy and up for it. in one case the other female partner got jealous/insecure and in another case it was the male partner who got jealous/ insecure. so sex had to stop midplay before everyone was satisfied.

True. I had a look up not many clubs and parties in Cumbria but seems to be a lot of nudist activity so probably more scope for dogging than somewhere like London where there's always a copper or CCTV around somewhere. Lol!

If I lived up there, I'd be naked all summer long!!

Londoners have to be content with indoor nudity or private gardens.

Ooooo this is very very interesting. So single guys have always paid more in the scene for last 20 years or so. It is what it is.

I have been so long in the game that it doenst bother me any more. Recently I was watching a couple play at a club and the play was stopped when one guy couldn’t take no for an answer.

It’s not hard to say do you mind, I sit with you, chat to you or touch you. However be ready to take no for answer. Also it’s not hard to stand back and be invited

"I've just seen an event in London and for single men its £80.

Is this standard price now days?"

It’s £35 for a club in Derby and that’s on a Thursday night. My limit is £20 for a hit or miss event.

A house in Derby is around a third of the price of a house in London so that sounds about right.

Good luck finding any event that charges men £20 only.

I am a member at OP4F in North London. I pay £40 entrance fee on a Tuesday night & £60 entrance fee on a Friday night.Personally I feel these are fair prices for London so no complaints from me.

Ok, that's good, but (going by the prices of entries to clubs near me), were those kink events or regular swinging events? As near me, kink events are charged per person, whereas swinging events, the prices differ depending on whether you're a single man, single woman or a couple.

Perhaps controversial and maybe a bit snobby, but I think a higher price brings with it a better class of customer, and by that I mean not some d*unk off the street that's just staggered out of the pub.

But again, a responsible manager/club wouldn't admit a scruffy d*unk no matter how much they're willing to pay on the door!

I'm still of the opinion that charging a higher price brings with it a sense of entitlement and expectation.

This 100%

And idiots often have as much disposable income as anyone else. The common gripe among single men is often the whole 'money invested vs sex had' ratio. The more they pay the more some seem to think sex should be a given.

"Club prices are always made clear on websites.

If people feel they're too high, there's always the option of not going. 🤷‍♂️

True. I had a look up not many clubs and parties in Cumbria but seems to be a lot of nudist activity so probably more scope for dogging than somewhere like London where there's always a copper or CCTV around somewhere. Lol!

If I lived up there, I'd be naked all summer long!!

Londoners have to be content with indoor nudity or private gardens."

The nearest clubs to me in Cumbria are 1 hour 45 minutes drive, either; CJ’s in Glasgow, Club Shhh in Newcastle (been), No.3 in Chorley (been), Cupid’s Swinton (been), or Club Play in Blackpool (been). And that’s why people locally put more effort in to using Fab!

"Alot of single guys feel entitled as they have paid the entry fee..If the prices we're lower the influx would be to much

A responsible club would cap the number of guys or keep to a sensible ratio.

I feel that charging guys a stupidly higher price would more likely ENCOURAGE bad behaviour and entitlement.

"

This is pretty close to what we’ve seen. The more a guy has to pay, the more entitled some feel to expect a feel-up or more!

We feel it’s a shameful discrimination to over charge men to attend as not all “good” men can afford (or value) the entry price, leaving less choice for those coupes and single females who enjoy their company as their reason to come too.

Clubs should get smart and maintain a good ratio of people at the same price as a single female as for many they are as sought after!

We’ve seen more than one club where regardless of the price single men pay, without a well maintained ratio, the couples simply stop going then the club slowly dies.

Coupes are what keep a club viable, keep them happy and they’ll keep the club full.

Doesn’t make it good value.

I set off to go to the Attic tonight but turned around as just couldn’t face handing over £35.

I’d rather save-up and go for a massage with a happy ending.

£35 for a night out is pretty good I my mind.

But if the value placed on a good time has to include guaranteed physical contact then swinging clubs probably aren’t the right places for some people. They're not that kind of business.

Not snobby at all, just because your a woman that goes to a swinging club doesn't mean you'll open your legs for anyone who's either d*unk or some chancer who smells and dresses like they've just finished a shift at a takeaway.
