Hi there lovely people, We have been on FAB a few years now.

Always wanted to try the clubs but don't know where to start.

We are Midlands based so somewhere close would be best.

What are your top tips for feeling comfortable??

Heya!

Perhaps treat going to a club as going to the pub and chatting to people. Yes there will be naked people, semi dressed people, people having sex, but initially go along and enjoy the club and just sit and chat to people.

There isn't any pressure to do anything or chat to anybody.

Perhaps get a feel for the club the first time and then play another time?

You are based in Walsall, according to your profile location, so you have Chameleons on your doorstep. There is also Xtasia in West Bromwich if a dress down club is too much for the first time. There are also a few other clubs very conveniently located in your area

Go with no expectations, if something happens then it’s a bonus, take in the atmosphere, chat to people, a game of pool is a good ice breaker even if you can’t play!

Have a look at the club reviews and websites and see what’s on where and which night/club you think is best for you, I went to a club within weeks of joining Fab and have never looked back, my inbox is open if you want any help

I’ve been to Xtasia, Chams and Libs in west mids

I’d say Libs is the best and a great club for first timers.

As others have said you're ideally located for Chameleons and Xtasia. Both great clubs, both different formats. So all you need to do is chose your style of club.

If it feels a little too close to home and you want something with a bit of separation but not too far away we recommend the Attic in Derby. That is probably our favourite club right now.

Reading this thread with interest…a female friend and I are considering visiting a club….probably next month and midweek daytime as feel might be a little quieter and less pressure but definitely looking at it as a social thing initially..both apprehensive but open the pool and chatting idea sounds good…would people say midweek daytime probably best introduction to clubs?…more likely to be Quest..any advice appreciated

Yes, Chameleons on a Friday night is very full on, lots of single guys as well if that is your thing, however Saturday after 7.30 is couples and single females only, a club that is always fun, however like most things, not everyone likes it....

From personal experience we can recommend xtasia. Had quite a few good nights out there and it's a great starting point into the club side of the lifestyle
