I've been there a fair bit last summer and this spring, sunny days are very busy and the alternative market day was rammed, could barely find room to park.i think the pool area is open now so that should be an attraction.

LAM, The London Alternative Market, is on Sunday 24th August this year. Busiest day of the year at Eureka. Lots of stalls selling BDSM gear & sex toys etc.

The O&I Sundays are also busy during the summer, details can be found on Fetlife.

Be interested to see how it is.

Never really liked it in the past, felt like a big scout hut crossed with hi-de-hi.

Happy to give it a try again if facilities etc have improved.

I remember there was some grounds you and your wife could cruise around and the building where they had dances etc. I remember later at night after it shut, the carpark got very muddy if it had been raining.

There's no solution other than that you bring Hilary up to Kent for a visit!

Looks like you were the couple who walked past Andy (who posted above), me and some others who were sitting near the palm tree below the swimming pool steps.

I only made the connection after coming home and seeing this thread otherwise we would have said hello!

Yes we were. It was such a lovely day and everyone was so friendly

For everyone else, it was really lovely. For such a sunny day, it was quite underused. Great venue.

i think the fact they don’t advertise on here anymore is out of sight out of mind! Be great to get it busy again was always a great night out, good dance floor clean play rooms great hot tub area and did some fantastic theme nights!

We like it for the ease of taking motor home and being able to park in woods for the night

I'm the same was a almost continuous member for 30 years even when Mark ran it. But after covid didn't go back wasn't felt welcome anymore.

We just headed here, while the staff were really friendly the pricey campervan parking was on the muddy carpark so wasn’t really for us, especially when the grand total for the two nights was going to end up £130 before food and drinks.

Overall the place looked a bit too tired to command that price, in our opinion. We’re heading elsewhere now for the weekend.

Enjoy your weekends everyone

We stayed once with our motor home. Crazy price. Vanilla Alternative has far better facilities for campers.

£25 per night to park and stay in the campervan in the carpark now there now then the rest of the cost was made up of day/evening entrance passes. It added up quickly!

Do we know if they have said anything about improving the facilities?
