We are thinking about visiting here when we go to Brighton in a couple of weeks.

We’ve never been to a club before and after looking at the website we weren’t sure if this was just a nudist spa? Or if we were to meet the right person/ people we can have fun?

It's a lovely place to spend a chilled afternoon or evening. Daytimes are for everyone, Sat and Sun after 5pm until closing is mixed couples only.

It's a spa with some playrooms that staff don't go into. The spa area is immaculately clean but is STRICTLY hands off and you'll get told off if you try any hanky panky. Upstairs in the playrooms is where the fun happens. There are 3 large areas plus some small cubicles.

They serve light food and soft drinks but no booze and you can get an excellent massage for a very reasonable price.

If it's sunny you can use the outdoor terrace area to sunbathe.

90% of it is a naturist spa, so any sort of hitting on you would be extremely frowned upon. Just let them know, and I'd expect the problem to be very rapidly resolved...

Definitely report it. May work.

But we feel clubs find it hard to police "following" hence why we try keep it to couples only nights, think they allow couples and females on certain events. Keep to that would be our advise.

If you can live with being followed then you'll be fine, hitting on you or crossing the line by touching is different matter, report that and also if you're being followed.

We recently went to a spa day, mixed. The continued being followed around is just off putting. For a example, We walked into the cinema room, we must have had about 6 single guys walk in behind us, we left and they all left at the same time, Looked like a scene out of The Walking Dead. Far too obvious and desperate, plus that is after we made it clear we weren't interested.

In my experience, Bristol Gardens is less intense than a full-on swingers club. It is primarily a (very high standard) naturist spa. There is only one area of rest rooms where any play is allowed and many couples come just for the spa. If you are followed or anyone is inappropriate in the spa areas, just report it and the staff will deal with the situation. For me (and my friend), we find Bristol Gardens to be absolutely ideal as you can totally relax in a lovely, unthreatening environment where everyone is nude and also go to the rest rooms when we get frisky. I'd say it is an ideal stepping stone to swingers clubs as you get the best of both worlds.

Just say no and please stop following. If that doesn't work a quick word with staff will resolve it.

They are very hot on dealing with the wanking dead, if anyone is acting in a manner that makes others uncomfortable they are spoken to. If the reaction isn't to their liking they get kicked out, hence some of the bad reviews.

We always go during the day at weekends for the spa and use the play rooms after 6.

All of the descriptions have been really accurate. It's always been fab all the times we've been. Not always had naughty fun (well we have but not involving others!) but it's always lovely and relaxing and never seen any issues or people looking intimidated or threatened etc. Our advice is go, relax, enjoy and if anything else happens.... We had our first visit there last Saturday 17th May and loved it. We have been to Rios in London before and didn’t like the atmosphere due to the hoards of creepy men following us around and the single guys who bring a ‘Patsy’ along just to gain entry.

The ladies who managed BGHS were brilliant. The place was immaculate. My wife felt very safe and wants to return again. We both had lovely massages with Claire. My only advice is to get there earlier than you think because we arrived around 7pm and didn’t have enough time to take full advantage of all the spa, lounge, massage and the upstairs restrooms!

Ahhh the wanking dead, always throw a porn mag into a different room and watch them scurry off.

I love the highway patrollers, the ones even though nothing is going on continually walk a route around the venue. You can almost time them as they go past, with extra points for consistent speed.

Had my second visit today (just Mr) on my way back from getting the new campervan windows installed and again loved it. BGHS is a gem. Spent the afternoon relaxing. Genuinely the only venue where I would feel confident the wife would be safe if she went alone to use the spa. Such a shame it’s a long drive from home.

It’s also such a pity the wife couldn’t make it today. She would have loved the beautiful couple who arrived late afternoon. Looking forward to our next visit soon!

They don't tolerate the mindless wanking dead, just have a word with the staff and they'll be dealt with. We always spend all afternoon and evening in the spa without issue.

Thanks guys, really helpful as my date read the sign whilst I was sunbathing and she couldn't decide whether it was or wasn't allowed. We'll keep it to the 'rest area' as we did see staff looking for a couple apparently not sticking to the rules which was good you see as we loved the relaxed spa atmosphere rather than sex club vibe

Saturday and Sunday after 5:30pm is couples. We got there at 6pm and it was just brilliant, nice mix of people and not too busy ...but plenty going on. I guess they ask singles to leave at 5pm. Staff were lovely too. We're going back for sure, just need to behave on the sun deck now I know!

I've got a feeling some of the roads a bit further you can park for longer. But what we do is use the Ringo app to pay for parking outside then just pop back up to the changing room and extend it if need be

The bays outside are 4hr max so i dont know that you can extend your parking time after the 4 hrs have expired.

If you exit bghs building turn left to the road ahead. On the right by the raised grass verge (Manor Road). The bays there are all day bays. It is pot luck if you get one but its always worth a look.
