Do any other couples attend clubs separately as well as together?

We have. Mrs moreso to date though. And Mr about to bite the bullet and participate.

What have been your rewards/highlights and challenges/pitfalls of doing this?

You have probably already got that sorted, but if you're thinking of attending the club solo on your couple's membership, do check with the club in question if that's ok. Most clubs that I have membership of with my partner, I can go in on our couple's membership or need a single female membership, but he can't go on his own on our couple's membership, needs to have his own single male membership. And follow the usual rules of single men attending that club.

I went to a sauna on my own, as I could get there using public transport (I don't drive). Outcome - I was seen as a "piece of fresh meat", followed everywhere by a group of men. It was a bit funny at times, seeing how soon they were going to find me. Hardly anyone talked to me (I am talking about the clients in the club, not staff- staff were amazing), I didn't see any bi male action apart from in the porn displayed (it was a men's sauna with women and couples allowed in on the day I went) and it got quite expensive, eventually, so I stopped going. Tried to go to another event further up North, had everything planned regarding public transport but my FWB offered to take me so I chose that. It's very much a pain, when you don't drive, to get to clubs.
