What to wear?

Hey all,

we've been to a few clubs over our time. Mostly a bijou club hosting a greedy girls event or the previous Edinburgh club at bi nights. So outfits have been pretty self explanatory.

We're about to try out the newcastle club. Mrs probably wearing something PVC. Mr is nervous. Mr previously attended a club as a single guy way back in 2010, opting to wear jeans and a black t-shirt. Was an uneventful night, but some comments were made about "you should wear something else in future"

So, daft question, what would be the suggested attire for a guy?

Assuming it’s not a dress down club, for men I’d always recommend smart casual. Smart trousers/chinos or dark jeans if allowed and a short.

Sexy for the girl and smart casual for the guy is normal unless it’s a dress down area, in which case I prefer naked
