We get there as often as we can...when it was weekly we'd manage it twice a month, now it's less often we struggle a bit more. But we are intending to go tomorrow.

It can be really busy with thirty couples and thirty single guys. It can be really quiet with five couples and a handful of guys. There's no real pattern to it.

It is, however, much more relaxed and peaceful than evenings at clubs (in our opinion) and very much more about the playing than the music/dancing/drinking that we find at evenings.

Apparently they went to monthly last year so they could do some improvements in the club. Only recently have they gone to twice a month.

Not for me to say, but possibly the success of the What Women Want event each month along with additional financial pressures running the club, but it seems it's not going back to weekly.

It's absolutely a relaxed intro to clubs. We hate clubs in the evenings (too noisy, too busy, to cliquey) but daytimes at VA (and Penthouse) are much more casual and seems to be more play happening, too.

Unfortunately they've said that Lux Lounge won't open until after the festival which is on the 22nd, so unfortunately the outside won't be open until after then.

I believe they are hard at work preparing for the festival, so I think it's a work zone at the moment.
