My advice would be to not over think it. Don’t put any pressure on yourselves - just go to have a look and don’t feel you need to do anything if you don’t want to. Just sitting at the bar and watching what’s going on is perfectly fine.

Have fun and if you do decide to have a play then you can always stop if you want to.

It does feel like it's your first day at school when you go there. Luckily we had arranged to meet a couple who had been before. But couples came up and chatted to us. Some congregate around the bar area, so it's similar to a pub environment, where you might start chatting whilst waiting for a drink.

Think that's how it feels at the moment. We are going with a couple we know so that helps to a point

Just go as if you are heading for a drink on the town…..with the added fun of being able to take yourself off and enjoy each other at any given moment or watch some sexy shenanigans in the club.

Don’t go with any expectations of having fun with others.

Be good to know what club you are attending other forumites may be able to give you a more accurate guide to the club and people.

Make sure you tell staff its first time at the club and first time at a swingers club (everyone has had that first time and they won’t judge). They will give you a tour and check in with you through the night to make sure you are having fun. And maybe introduce you to friendly couples/single who they trust to make feel comfortable.

Most of all feel under no pressure to play with others just because you are at a club.

Final top top and most important advice:

Make sure you both have fully agreed what you want to happen. What are the yes activities, what are the definitely not anctivities and what are the “maybe with the right person” activities. Be honest with each other and agree the boundaries. If one of you wants to go past those boundaries talk at the club but on your own not with others in the conversation.

Should be a fun night out and you both want to leave smiling.
