It is indeed newbie weekend. Have not decided if I will be there yet but I can give you the basics as a regular.

Club opens at 7pm. Kick out time is 1.30am ..unless you are crashing.or have a room.

You'll enter and be welcomed by staff on the front desk (bring ID for that please). A few details will be taken and then you'll be given a tour of the club to get the layout.

Once that concludes you'll be left in the bar and you're on your own...or not but I'll come back to this.

The club is pretty much broken up into 4 areas. From bottom to top.

Cellar = Dungeon and public play areas with some private rooms.

Main floor is the communal areas. Reception, cafe / diner area, bar, lounge and dance floor, changing rooms and lockers, saunas and hot tub etc.

First floor has a couple of public play rooms with some.private hotel.rooms. top floor is hotel rooms.

Facilities wise, robes and towels can be rented along with a locker (and room to.stay over if youre wanting one but check with the club ahead if you want that). Food, tea, coffee and soft drinks can also be purchased. You must however bring your own alcohol and put it behind the bar (a corkage fee applys).

Now on to the people.

Well..the staff are amazing. Any questions or issues, just ask them. Someone will help.

As for the club members..they come from allover the country and there's a lot of regulars (such as myself). We're all a freindly crowd and no one bites. Now I know it can be daunting walking into a club for.the first time where you dont know anybody...(or.maybe you will, I don't know)...but just remember..everyone's there for the same reason. Striking up conversations goes a long way.

It does (to some) look like theres a bit of a clique going on but that's because it's a very freindly place. If you look approachable then you'll get approached and if you say hi to people they'll say hi back.

Ultimetly though..it is best to have no expectations. Just treat it as a night out and whatever happens happens..

Now..you won't be walking into an orgy (just incase that was a concern). Usually people are just dressed (usually.smart casual unless its a theme night) when you arrive. Dress down time usually happens around 10.30 though people will start disappearing early or jump into.the hot tube before that.

In the communal areas there's no fooling around and dess down usually means just getting into.your underwear, a robe or a towel.

If you want to go to.the play areas you must have dressed down first.

Club rules will be given.to.you on the tour but the can be boiled down to this. No means no and no touching without consent. If in doubt..ask.

And that's pretty much it.

The owners Ash and Anth along with the rest of the staff will.go above and beyond to make sure you have a good time.

As a broader scope beyond the newbie nights..

Fridays are usually.aimed at singles (though couples are welcome) and Saturdays are aimed at couples. Single.ladies.welcome but single males will be limited to a guest list only. Other nights have differnt themes depending what your thing is.

Think I've covered everything you could.possibly want to know but if you have questions, just ask.

Hope that helps and possibly.see.you there on the night.

It's worth braving the cold and spending some time out the back. That tends to be the more social area - without the music from the bar, it's easier to get a group in conversation. The more outgoing regulars will go out of their way to include newbies.

There are two rooms downstairs that can be completely private, and a few more with lockable doors. Lots of opportunity to be an exhibitionist, and also lots of opportunity to invite people to join you.

But it's a very social place. To get the most out of it, don't neglect that side.

That's exactly where I do my best work. How else am I going to get them out of their clothes and joining in?
