Is it a specific Christmas event, as in do you need to pre-book? We tend to arrive early as a rule anyway, but haven't investigated the Chams location to see if it is a pre-book event or not.

Only for specific events, like BBW events, when you just have to be on the list. For any other days, I think you need to be a member. Couples and single ladies can join on the day, you just need ID and proof of address. And it's a lifetime membership, I believe.
