FabSwingers.com forum: Swinging Clubs in the South East?

Hi everyone,

I've looked in the clubs section part of Fab and it's hard to decipher which clubs are decent and worth attending and which aren't, because all the reviews are "six of one and half a dozen of the other" so pretty even stevens.

Does anyone have any suggestions for decent clubs with a good atmosphere that are worth attending in the South East for a single male?

eureakas is awesome, great in the daytime outside fun , partys most nites , friendly peeps, and loads of playrooms, loads of peeps visit every day

We go to AbFabs / Kestrels. Takes us about an hour from Southampton, is very easy to find and is the best club we've been to. PM me if you want any more info.

I had to Google "The VA", didn't what it was haha!

I'm gonna check out all the suggestions.

I've heard about AbFabs, seems to be the place that is the most chatted about.

Abfabs is highly recommended, the only downside is due to it's size and lay out it can make conversation with people hard as there is no real main social area. However it has some of the best facilities of any club, the pool is great. It also opens during the day as Kestrals which can be very busy although you will need separate membership for day visits.

Another well run club in the south east is Pleasures which is located in the Kent countryside just outside of Maidstone. With it's house party vibe, it's not overly big but has a number of great play areas. Well worth checking out.

In North London, the club to check out is Ourplace 4 fun. A small and friendly club with no wet areas and mostly open play areas but is one of the best run clubs.

Another good club is the Paradise spa in Dagenham. A good wet area spa with two large hottubs, a sauna and steam room. There also is a good number of private play areas. This club holds a few social parties over the year too.

Thanks @Custard Cream for the detailed response.

It's looking like a toss up between Eurekas and the VA at the moment.

I like the look of Eurekas though, looks pretty good.

It's in Kent too which is not far from me either.

As long as the atmosphere is good I'm happy haha!

Not sure what custard cream is on about saying Abfabs has no areas for socialising ... it has a large lounge with at least seven leather sofas, a dance area with stools and tables next to it, a smaller lounge with two leather sofas and porn on a screen and various smoking areas (where not everyone smokes - people also eat and drink al fresco at the tables) ... not to mention the area outside of the play areas in the dungeon.

And being in the pool or hot tubs naked provides ample opportunity to be 'sociable'.

We went to an evening do at Eurekas and found it was hopeless for socialising as the dance music was too loud.

I guess like everything though, it's horses for courses.

With so many social areas at Abfabs, it makes for smaller groups of conversation rather there being one or two social areas, there is both pro's and con's to this. It's easy to miss people due to the clubs size however the smaller areas can be better for introducing yourself more privately.

in all, Abfabs is great, I would go more often if it where closer.

I found Euerka's felt a bit like a holiday camp with a club house set out with diner style booths set around a dance floor. On party nights there is a disco, which is great if you want to dance the night away but didn't help with being able to strike up conversation that easy due to the music's volume. I felt it was more suited for couples or small groups as people sat in groups at their own tables rather than mingling together.

The club has massive grounds and a fair sized outdoor pool so maybe worth trying on a warm summers day.

Eureka has undergone a change of ownership recently and is in the process of upgrading its rooms.

The couples room, although only good if i pull !, is lovely with three beds the smallest one being a queen size and a 55"

Tv. However the two new rooms one lockable with an island bed and fantastic sound reactive lighting and the VIP Lounge that is open to couples and invited single males with a round bed and stunning decor are the best two play rooms of any club i have been in.

Also when i have been, twice since easter, it has been very busy with well over 250 people there.

However my main reason for converting to this club is that they actually let me in on Fridays and Saturdays, if i am not with my FB, unlike AbFabs that is happy to rip me off for £60 on a Friday but wont even let me in on a Saturday night !

To sum it up if you are a single guy who can dance or at least move around a bit and can manage to string two words together then Eureka is the place to go, bar none, its a place for players not posers !

Been to Abfabs and didnt like it at all. Just my personal preference. We go to Pleasures in Waterinbury Kent. It's clean, friendly, non pushy and very relaxed. Ideal place for first time as it is that friendly. Single guys can go on a Friday night.

I can recommend Jaydees on the Beds/Cambs border for a fun, friendly and low cost night out - see the reviews in the clubs tab. It really is a great place
