Why the hell has AbFAbs started allowing single guys on a SATURDAY! The one and ONLY day we had for COUPLES! FFS!

Another club bites the dust..

As a couple we just ask for 1 night, even a month JUST for couples...

I reckon this will be the death of AbFabs

Not necessarily, as apparently they have a large area in the club that is for couples only? You could stay there all night?

Erm, there is still one night a month reserved for couples and single ladies only. A new couples and single ladies only room has been built so there is a specific area for you.

The club has had single guys on a Saturday for a year now with their Mocha Nights. It works and guests have asked for more nights, so the switch has been flipped.

Erm, there is still one night a month reserved for couples and single ladies only. A new couples and single ladies only room has been built so there is a specific area for you.

Have you been on a Mocha night? It's solely for black guys into white women. The guests that have asked for more nights are very unlikely to be couples, Ive had a lot of DMs from couples that are frankly pissed off with AbFabs for doing it. But you have a point. This is about business and money (obviously) but the problem will be, as it always is, that the single guys going will get pretty frustrated when they don't get the attention they are hoping for. Personally it just means we now think twice about going and double check when its a couples night only. Its just another stick in the couples-only market in the chase for the desperate single guys wallet. Shame..

If enough couples and single ladies used the exclusive night maybe it would still be exclusively for couples and women?

Clubs are businesses and in the current climate many are struggling and need to adapt/change to survive.

Two points to consider - there are plenty of clubs who successfully admit guys on a Saturday with no problems at all. And two, allowing single guys in usually means more single women attend

Well, the last time we went on a Friday, when they allow single males, there was less have 6 couples (including us..) and we left after an hour of being chased around the club. Vowed never to go on a Friday again.

1. Do your research...there is a Saturday night couples and single fems only night, once a month...could probably leave the post there and drop the mic...but actually:

2. If more couples and single fems had been attending the club regularly enough then the club would not look to other ways of maximising income...use it or lose it.

3. There is now a couples room where you can all head to so you can complain amongst yourselves.

4. Including the couples room there are five lockable play rooms at the club that have no windows so completely private.

5. Including the rooms mentioned in point 4 there are a total of 8 lockable play rooms in total at the club.

6. I have been on many a couples and single ladys night with partners and frankly they have been the worst nights for atmosphere in the club...and I go a lot. Couples keeping to themselves, hardly chatting let alone anything more.

7. As an experienced single guy believe me Im not interested in simply "getting some" and definitely not from seemingly self entitled folk!

8. I meet plenty of couples who enjoy the company of single guys socially and for playtime

9. If a single guy is bothering you report them to the club staff...they'll deal with it.

10. I may well take my own advice in point 9 when it comes to some couples!

11. The club will be fine.

In which case it's down to the club management or event organiser to have a word with those whose behaviour isn't conducive to a good atmosphere for other attendees.

The club's I've been to that don't have problems with guys are the ones that lay out the rules clearly and encourage socialising between everyone regardless of gender and relationship status.

read there website calender as per your requirement there is o e Saturday a month where it is couples single ladies night. So your wish is already granted.

And....I'm white...and I have attended Mocha a number of times and its a way better vibe than the couples nights I've been to at the club...Ive been to funerals with a better atmosphere than some of those.

It's couples like you using terminology such as "desparate single guys" that actually are as much of a problem in the scene as some guys who may not have as much etiquette or experience as one would hope for...but as you ably demonstrate in this thread...same goes for some couples too!!

Great place to also now arrange first meetings with couples or single women, who are only able to do so on a Saturday night.

Great facilities, nice bar and seating area to have those intial chats to see how all get on and go from there, however all are comfortable with over the rest of tbe evening.
