"Lucky enough to be attending both clubs this weekend. Haven’t been for a while and have read the websites and they seem to suggest minimum of smart trousers (chinos, and shirt) but love to get feedback on what I should wear if I want to: Blend in Standout in a good way Standout in a bad way Not going to take my camo combats or my invisability cloak for the first of these but love to leverage the combined wisdom and dress sense of FS. Thank you kindly" Blend in - plain button down shirt or polo shirt. Stand out - loud button down shirt (print/colour etc). That can go either way depending on the print

" Never known anyone to be ejected for a loud shirt lol. As long as it has a collar, you’ll be fine. Chinos are perfect.

"The dress code allows smart jeans and any shirt with a collar, so it's not all chinos and boat shoes..." I should hope so, can’t think of anything worse than wearing a polo shirt, chinos and boat shoes…. I’d feel like I’d come dressed like Alan Partridge!

"Chinos, shirt and shoes? Is this a golf club or something? Why do these clubs have such dated dress codes…. Of course you don’t turn up in your best track suit or like you’ve just knocked off work from a construction site but what’s wrong with some Levi’s, box fresh trainers and a smart t shirt or plaid shirt? Surely if you are feel comfortable with your dress you’ll be relaxed?" You'd be surpised that those who think a tracksuit and trainers are acceptable.

" You'd be surpised that those who think a tracksuit and trainers are acceptable. " They are most likely to be the same people who feel that lecherous behavior and unwanted attention is perfectly acceptable just because they have paid the entrance fee. They probably don’t care about their appearance or cleanliness and will wander around aimlessly with their hands on their tiny dicks trying to hit on women that they objectify and disrespect.

Oh we've seen some very well-dressed men behave like that too in clubs all over the country. Attire isn't necessarily a measure of decency.

"That is true, no matter how you may dress, some people from certain cultural backgrounds will never know how to behave appropriately around women." Oh we're talking all backgrounds. Entitled, white British men being some of the worst. And I say that as a white British person.

" Oh we're talking all backgrounds. Entitled, white British men being some of the worst. And I say that as a white British person." In my experience of clubs in the south east and London areas, the most annoying and sexually desperate demographic seems to middle aged men of Turkish and Arabic appearance that don’t understand how to dress appropriately or conduct their behavior. Although on any night that allows single men, you’ll always have a certain percentage of socially inept men that are looking for something that they could never get the vanilla world other than paying a visit to a brothel.

"As a lady I love seeing guys in loud patterned shirts. If I'm interested, it's a great way for me to start the conversation " Now I’m in two minds
