I’m a club virgin. But it’s something that has been on my radar for a long time.

I guess I don’t really know what to expect and that’s always held me back.

Talk me through it. What do you wear? How do you talk to people? How do you say a polite no thank you? Any other info that I should know?

What to wear and what to expect are a little bit dependent on the venue and the particular event. Maybe if there's a few events that you're considering then you could mention them here so the regular attendees can give specifics.

Most if not all clubs will show you around if you let them know you are a newbie and answer questions during the tour.

How to say no....it's pretty straightforward, "no thanks" "I'm not playing just looking" etc.

Have a listen to the sexless swingers podcast. It will answer a lot of your questions.

Remember.

Two types of clubs.

Dress town from start thqt is towels or boxers for men. Lingerie for women.

Other club casual in bar area. Sexy dress for women.

I guess you would prefer non dress down

Others will answer your actual questions, I’ll just offer this: find a club buddy who has more experience and maybe visited the club before. They could be a play mate, or someone who you just feel comfortable being around, will look out for you and know you’ll have a laugh with. It worked for me xx

My wife normally wears a short black dress that's easy to get on and off, one of those stretchy ones, with heels but takes flats also.

Saying no, can be hard but we normally just let conversation drift and then walk away.

Conversation can be hard but we tend to go to the smokers area as it's much easier to talk then, no idea why.
