Identifying people you’ve been chatting too

Sorry boring thread alert but we’re looking for your top tips on how to identify people in clubs.

It happens to us every time. We chat with people ahead of going and plan to meet,

Normally exchange face pics although some folk are like yeah if you see us come say hello and there’s no face pics (so we’ve learnt that’s just lip service).

Here’s the problem though, half the time the pics have been set to disappear so if you’ve not burned them permanently in memory you’ve got no chance.

Pictures on here are so low quality (due to compression) that they aren’t easy to identify either.

You also can’t check your phone in a club like you would in the vanilla world.

How do you solve this problem?

We have completely missed people we’ve been chatting to previously on fabs when at a club. Maybe a trip to Spec Savers needed!

For the low quality… have you enabled HD photos on fab? There’s a setting for it

Ha Ha, fair point. We learnt to make sure we’re both wearing glasses and they are from Specsavers.

We have exactly same problem! Go to Chams and never manage to catch up with people we message before. So difficult in darker areas to recognise .. I guess answer is to say what time arriving and maybe arrange to be in bar area around a certain time ?!

So next time you are at Chams come say hi to us we are usually found in the hot tub on a Sunday or Monday evening. T has a red towel M has a grey short wrap towel.

Some good advice here, essentially we just need to be more organised. Agree when and where to meet and share pictures.

We try to be, just every time we going something has happened that means we’re in a rush.

I don’t forget a face but I also don’t go looking for people we’ve been chatting to. It used to put me on edge if people said we will come say hello. It doesn’t anymore thankfully, we much prefer meeting the old fashioned way- face to face and then carrying on the chat.
