Looking to visit one of the above next Thursday, but with the weather a little iffy still, which is your favourite?

Have visited Eurekas before, great outdoor space, but which is generally busier on a Thursday daytime?

If the weather is warm and sunny then the grounds of Eureka have it in aces but if it isn’t then we’d head to Silverleigh.

As for how busy?

Who knows on any given day.

Ladies are free on Thursdays at Silverleigh.

Eureka has loads of space. You can do lots of wandering. We like that. Silverleigh is nice but it feelssso small in comparison.

Eureka is good in the summer if you can get past the rude, disinterested staff and don't mind that 50% of their facilities are broken. Silverleigh is smaller, just as dated but the staff and clients are friendly and their facilities are in working order. On 30 degree days I'll go to eureka for the grounds and pool but Silverleigh is a nicer place without a doubt.

Yes I totally agree. I used to be a member at Eureka pre covid. I now go to Silverleigh and find it much more friendly and fun. Yes it's dated but that's part of it's charm

I’m afraid that Silverleigh has lost our custom forever.

When I politely asked twice for them to turn down the music that we had to shout over in the lounge area on a Sunday afternoon the “manager” asked me to come outside and meet him over the road so we could sort it out!

Tbh… why come over to Kent when you probably have the best naturist spa for facilities by far on your doorstep?

I live in Kent and would always choose to go to Brighton lol

Ha, you raise a good point but I’m near Kent for the day and BGHS’s outdoor area is limited.

.

Now the suns coming out i'll be heading to eurekas at some point. Yes half the facilities dont work but so long as i can lay naked in the sun. I'm fine with that.

I also want to try VA lux lounge for sunbathing.

Same, can't beat sunbathing at Eureka. You can sunbathe at Silverleigh but the pool is too warm to cool off in once you've roasted yourself. Eureka pool is unheated so in 30 degree heat that's a blessing!
