We prefer Afterdark, the staff are so nice and helpful, friendly atmosphere and the rooms are always kept clean

Not much choice up here so my advice would be try them all and visit on different events as the events can make or break it for a good night out

There's an issue with planning permission, it's still open. We were there on Saturday night and had a great time.

I’ve been to CJs in Glasgow and Afterdark in Edinburgh,.had a great time at both and everyone was so welcoming,I would say I found it easier to socialise at AD the first time going,That’s more local to you as well so might be your best option

Glasgow

In Glasgow there is CJs and Eclasia but you would have to book in before to go to them. CJ is probably busiest on theme nights.

Edinburgh there is Afterdark as previously mentioned and you are free to just to turn up. Most busiest on the lingerie nights.

There is Bacchus in Dundee but never been so can't really comment on there.

We honestly think that the best club for you would be CJ’s.

We found After dark a bit odd tbh. There was a guy sitting at the bar with what once was a white top but now off white/grey Nike top and really dirty trainers drinking his pint. It was almost like stepping into a local boozer. It had the old woodchip council wall paper with single glazed windows.

Downstairs at the play rooms was very cold and seemed very seedy to us. Just lots of single guys walking about looking for something to wank over. The staff were very friendly and the few other couples were nice as well. We lasted 30 mins and walked out.

We would highly recommend going to CJ’s in Glasgow. Literally the opposite of everything negative we just said about after dark. The vibe is much sexier and the venu is much more modern and established

This is just our personal opinion and experience and in no way mean to upset anyone.

Are you sure you attended afterdark as it's all on one level with no stairs

Really just depends on what you are looking for. They are very different and have their own attraction. For us Cjs is good as we like the Couples & Single female nights which if you are not into single guys is a comfortable night. Also they have a couple of big open rooms where couples play. If like us you like to watch and be watched thats a plus. Not so many private rooms so if you want privicy then not so good. For us Afterdark is good as you dont need to book. You get lockers to keep your stuff safe. Also its all new and fresh and spotlessly clean. Lots of private rooms so pleanty space. Only thing is they dont have a couples room. When its quiet there can be more single guys than couples sitting nervously at the side of the room.
