VA Deck and Dance question (newbies)...

Near Winchester

We have been swinging on-and-off for about 20 years (gulp!)… often more “off” than “on”- we have very busy lives outside of lifestyle fun stuff. We have been lucky enough to play with several couples and a handful of guys, but have had a year off, and recently a total re-think of what we want.

We think clubs might be a better ‘fit’ for us, but we have questions and we’re nervous.

VA looks exactly what we’re looking for, and (at least to start with) would ideally go on a Couples/Ladies night (eg: Saturday Seduction would be exactly it). But the only night we can do this side of July(!) is the Deck & Dance on 6th April. We’re much more likely to be found sitting down with a nice drink and chatting than dancing to Ibiza Classics.

So the question is: Is that what Deck & Dance is like, and should we wait until we can get to a regular Saturday Seduction, or have we got it wrong and Deck & Dance will still be the perfect intro to the club scene for us?

Thanks in advance, you fabulous people. x

Something to note when considering the VA is that there are no private play areas. It's all open. Great club, just something to bear in mind.

At The Vanilla Alternative, Deck 'N' Dance and Saturday Seduction are quite similar except that our wonderful DJ Courtney is always providing the entertainment at Deck 'N' Dance and the music tends to be a little louder. On Saturday Seduction party nights the evening starts off with the the music at a slightly lower level allowing guests surrounding the bar to get to know each other first of all. Both nights attract a similar number of visitors and there is always a great atmosphere.
