FAWKHAM

For those of you that haven't ever attended or haven't been to Eureka in the last three months, there are a few updates about the club.

Firstly Eureka now has new owners and management team. We are committed to updating and improving the club and our ambitious plans to turn Eureka into the number 1 lifestyle resort in the UK are going ahead at breakneck speed !

We already have an additional play room and by the 23rd March we will have a new large couples and invited males room approx 4mx4m.

We will be updating all of the other rooms as well as continuing the work in the main hall and adding another new play room.

While the work is ongoing we will try to keep the disruption to a minimum and we look forward to you coming to see the changes over the next few months.

Been once and enjoyed it, but not enough to make a return journey for one simple reason...the "clothing optional" rule during the day. It was a warm weekend, with a decent turnout when I was there with a ladyfriend...and we both remarked about the fact that only 20% of people were naturists, and were sunbathing or enjoyiing the swimming pool, naked, whilst the other 80% had no intention of getting "into the spirit" of the place at all. It was a very "strange" feeling to be in the all-together amongst people wandering around in their coats, jeans, and pullovers still on.

I hope that the new broom will sweep clean of such anomolies.

Although I understand your point of view, Eureka was founded and continues to be run as a club where people have a choice of what to wear or if they wish to be naked. It is run with a spirit of tolerance whether it be for your clothing preference or for your sexuality.

Having said that we do have a naked party every week on alternate Wednesdays and Fridays with our Friday naked Parties attracting 100+ every time they are run.

I have to say that during the summer when the pool is being used nearly everyone is naked but we will remain clothing optional club.

Can you address the issue of the cabins, I stayed last year and it was freezing due to the 2inch gap between the sides and the roof.

We find this preferable, makes us feel more relaxed to wear what we feel comfortable/sexy in

All of the cabins have been sealed and painted and over the next two weeks all of the mattresses will be replaced and over the next two months all of the carpets will be replaced as well as the carpet in the main hall.

As for staff, depending when you were here last lots have changed, however i don't really want to discuss personal issues in an open forum, but if you want to respond to me via private email on here then please do so.

I would HATE to be compelled to go naked as I have major confidence issues with my body. However, Zed loves to go naked ... I hate for him to miss out so we compromise when we go to Kestrels and I wear a sarong with nothing underneath.

Whilst I agree that people shouldn't be attending a naturist venue fully clad in outdoor clothes, I wouldn't want a 'get naked or go home' attitude either. I can't see a problem with the shy amongst us being able to wear a sarong, towel or robe.

Essex.

We've been going to Eureka since last July, we go on a saturday. We have found that over 95% are naked during summer days and often most of the remaining 5% get naked at some point...

Come party time most people dress to impress and a few are naked. Giles and the rest of the team are working hard to improve on a great venue. We've not been for nearly two months due to work, family stuff and colds etc. So we should see some more improvements. One of the best changes for us is Giles doing the music instead of the bloke who insists on wailling over the top of the music...lol

Eurekas' isn't perfect but they are working on it... We aren't linked to the club but found it to be the best club for us... Keep up the good work.... FnRx

We stopped going to Eureka a while ago due to the intolerably rude attitude of some members of staff. We drove in and out again on a Saturday evening the last time we went. Now that there are new owners we will probably give it another go.

i totally understand that,in my thread i didn't mean sarongs towels etc, more when iv'e been people in full get up jeans t shirts etc and some totally naked that then becomes awkward for those that have nothing on, and becomes just a perve on from the clothed people.

obv sarongs towels robes are fine. im not one to just run around with it all out all the time , i like a towel or something to run too and hide in wen i have too lol

we go regularly in the summer we dont see that many with clothes at all, maybe the weather wasnt in ur favour, plus u need to alow clothes as some new visitors may not feel ready for full nudity so u need to let them join in slowly.

We currently have a large couples only room with 55" TV, queen size bed, custom made triple double bed and three sofas, one which doubles as a double bed during parties, this room will remain as a couples+single fems room only.

The new room, that will be finished for our Easter Party, will have a large round bed, viewing seats with space for playing as well as a pole and a small TV and modern lighting, this room will be for couples and invited males ie a couple can take guys in for a play but when they go the guys go too unless of course they end up playing with someone else ! Of course this will be a harder room to police but it will be checked every 15-20mins on a Saturday night and will also have a room etiquette sign to help people stay within our rules.

We felt this was a fair way of organising the rooms for those couples that wish to have threesomes or moresomes

We will also have our new island room and the three old rooms that are lockable. These rooms will also be updated over the next couple of months and we will be having a new dungeon as well.

At the moment there is no general camping allowed on site, a covenant in the lease doesn't allow it, however, we are in talks with the landowner and later in the year we may be able to have a couple of camping weekends.

If this is allowed we will of course advertise it on this site.

Just to update people, the Island Room has been finished and is proving a hit, especially the sound reactive lights with the more vocal users . The new Pole Room will be open for our Easter Saturday Fetish Party and is looking amazing already. It has been delayed for a week by supply problems for the wall coverings. We haven't been idle though and the Eureka Team spent the week re-carpeting the clubhouse and after some late nights it is complete.

We also got to the bottom of the non working blowers on the hot tubs and after some small adjustments, with a hammer, all is working fine now

Next on the list is the smallest playroom that will become....well wait and see !

Any investment and change is to be welcomed, I look forward to my next visit.

I personally dont like people wandering around, day or evening, in full street wear. It is a naturist and swingers club.. ALL guests should adopt the minimum of towel or lingerie.

The issue of music is very subjective and we try to cater for all tastes. It is very hard for our regular DJ's to keep everyone happy, i know because i stand in on occasion.

However we do keep an ear out for the volume of the music and up to 10.30pm the music is kept lo(ish) so people can socialise and then the music tends to speed up and the volume increase up to about 12am when the volume is set for the last three hours.

If anyone does have an issue with the level of music please let me know on the night and if practicable we will lower the level, but everyone needs to remember that if we turn it down to much a lot of people then complain it isnt loud enough lol

Sadly the DJ seems to think he is Fat Boy Slim lol the level is more a kin to that of a night club rather than a naturist/swingers venue. Having been to many place all over the UK this is the worst. You can't be social in a social area. We left with sore throats from having to shout all night to the people on the same table. We had attended as the event was labeled as a social. We were looking forward to chatting with people from the websites face to face. Have to say we left very dissatisfied and have never returned. We know of many that feel the same.

Not trying to dis your venue, just constructive criticism

The event you attended was last year and there have been many changes since then, but perhaps a nightclub atmosphere like ours is not the type of venue that is suitable for you.

We have over 200 people attend every Saturday of the year and at last weeks Easter Party we had 350 party goers so there are people out there who do like the nightclub with extras atmosphere and although we try to cater for everyone it is obviously impossible to do so.

We do however feel that broadly we have the mix of level and music correct and as our numbers are increasing, on Saturdays especially, a lot of people must agree.

Love this club, and always have!!!

Its one of the only clubs we have been to where everyone makes an effort to chat...some other clubs we have visited have been very 'clicky' and a few people have appeared to be up their own bottoms, but this club continues to offer a fabulous party night on a Saturday, with a really friendly sociable feel and is always packed!

If its your first visit to a club try this one...as people make an effort to interact!

We are definitely going and try to visit in the day (naked of course) when the sun decides to come out.

BBBW Heaven

Hi,

As a single lady, I would love to attend as I have been informed that it is one of the best clubs in the south east. My only problem is money as the club closes early, calling a cab back to north London would cost me £45 minimum, getting there would cost aide £25 and the choice of renting a cabin would cost almost the same as the cabin but then the cost of train and cab fare back on top.

While I know there is nothing you can do about the closing time, what I am really asking is when will we be able to camp in our tents

Reply privatelyReply in forumReply +quote

By *urekaParties OP   Couple

Cabins are available to book from £35 so that would be the only extra cost to your night over you bringing your own tent.

However camping is not allowed in the local area so i am afraid it will have to be a cab or a cabin for you for the foreseeable future.

Or you could come to one of our parties where we stay open all night like next weekend the 27th.
