I'll let you know when they're nailing down me coffin!

So I understand, there is a couple who still go to clubs (not sure which one) who are in their late 70's now. They don't play, but they still enjoy the social side, and good on them I say!

If people still want you - then you're not too old.

Well maybe you need to consider the punter

Eg :

Two of Amsterdams Prostitutes RETIRED today

"Amsterdam's oldest prostitutes retire at 70

Twins, who are believed to be Amsterdam’s longest serving prostitutes, have retired after more than 50 years in the business having had sex with a reported 355,000 men.

Louise and Martine Fokkens, 70, claim to have slept with more than 355,000 men between them in the 100 years they have spent working, reports The Sun.

The pair say the pains of getting old, combined with a changing community, have forced the decision.

Louise said that her arthritis made some of her work too painful, and both twins admit that it is difficult to attract new clients.

The twins became prostitutes while they were still teenagers in order to escape violent relationships.

They are known for wearing matching outfits, usually red dresses, while working.

'Oldest window girls' in Amsterdam

The duo fondly recalled the golden era of prostitution in Amsterdam that existed before the trade was legalised and dominated by the “eastern European mafia”.

Louise said: “It is very different now. We used to sit in the windows with clothes on. Today they are totally naked.

“There are few Dutch women and no sense of community these days.”

Martine added: “The legalisation of brothels in 2000 has not improved prostitutes' lives.

“There is no point working just for tax. That is why the girls are working from the internet and from home - you are less likely to be spotted by the taxman.

“It is better for the pimps and the foreigners, but not for the Dutch girls.”

Martine and Louise became famous as the subject of a 2012 documentary called ‘Meet the Fokkens’ and they have just finished work on a book, ‘The Ladies of Amsterdam’.

The twins said they hope to be able to live off their earnings from the book and film rights.

"on ya babes"
