It's why I don't bother with memberships to clubs far and wide. Train, hotel, ticket to event. It all adds up and just isn't worth the cost to have most women and couples side-eye you for the crime of being a single guy.

Fortunately clubs are the kind of place where I can lay down the law (about "no touchy without consent", not anything wild) and everyone will back me up

The Attic in Derby was something like £20-£25 for single guys and you can pay that much, or more, for a ticket to a gig, meal out, hitting a few bars.

That's exactly why I don't waste my money on them. Would only go as a couple, even if just giving a fem friend a lift. For £50 I can have a lot of quality tug time. Meal out, cinema, and I'll still respect myself in the morning.

Its an age old question and its caused by the absolute need for men to have sex, they wouldn't charge it if you didn't go but in droves they turn up moan about the price but walk over the threshold

It’s expensive for most with travel and hotels, also there’s other costs involving attending a club….wax, nails, hair, lingerie.

If they aren’t for you or you don’t like what a club charges….don’t go

I tend to go to OP4F in North London it’s a members only club and I have been a member 6 years now.Tuesday are £30 Friday £50 Saturday £80 entrance fee for a single guy.I appreciate that these prices maybe expensive to some but as I see it it’s London so things tend to be a bit more expensive and besides we don’t have many adult clubs in London.I tend to go on Friday night as that is the end of my working week.The way I see it I know the price and the night I want to go or can go I pay it with the intention of having a night out I go with the attitude no expectations that way there are no disappointments and anything else is a bonus.
