Thinking of making our first visit to Temptations this weekend. Does anyone who's been know do they supply towels, and can you buy drinks there or is it take your own? Thanks

No drinks supplied but they are (literally) next door to an off licence and will pop there to buy for you.

just go with no expectations other than a decent soak in the spa and maybe getting to see some horny sights. if you expect nothing you have nothing to lose (the real source of confidence)

Just go. At the worst you'll get a few hours without your phone in a warm and friendly place. In the week there's a chance you'll be in there alone but it's no real loss, the place is a good spot to relax in.

If someone's there, don't be shy; people go there to meet, chat and have fun.

I admit i havent been for a few months but the ration was about 2 guys to 1 couple depending on night.

I know a few couples that go just to chat or watch so you wont be unique in that sense.

No booking necessary, just turn up when you’re free and pay on the door. For me that’s one of the biggest selling points, I can fit it in when I like without having to plan too far ahead for it. Makes it really spontaneous for me

Used to visit here when staying in bournemouth.however the guy on the door when I visited was the most obnoxious moron I've ever met.was smoking outside and was pissed off that I was stopping him then was rude and not polite.was ready to tell him to stick it and to fuck off.if you want to run somewhere successful then have friendly staff that welcome people and change the dvd for upstairs room when it's finished playing.its the only club in the area otherwise I'd say avoid

I live not far away and haven't been for more than a while. My cleaners son works there and I know the owners. I have no idea then what it's like these days but my previous experience of it left me not recommending it (as a swinging venue anyway). I would be interested in feedback from others as to how busy it is over the weekend as I went with a friend on a Friday night between 8pm and midnight and there weren't even double figures in number. Yes they supply towels but you can walk about naked if you wish.

yeah it's a very friendly place, as long as nudity doesn't scare you then you'll be fine and even then you can hide under the bubbles :D :P They have lockable rooms with beds if you want to have fun without the world watching and depending when you go it can be pretty quiet anyway

Yes they supply towels. Soft drinks (squash) and tea/coffee supplied. Anything else you'll have to bring or they'll pop out any buy for you from the off-licence that's literally next door.

Hi, we've been there many times. You go in the door and will be asked if you have been to similar places before. Dress down policy will be explained; you will get a locker key, the lockers are in a small room off the hallway as you go in. You keep the wristband and give the key back to reception.

Bring your own booze (wine/beer fine, spirits frowned on 😄). Coffee tea and fruit provided free.

Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna downstairs plus an outside area, playrooms upstairs.

Always lots of regulars who all know eachother really well. I wouldn't describe it as cliquey as such, but it can feel as though you have crashed a private party sometimes !

We were made very welcome on our first visit. Only ever been on a Weds when it's very cheap for couples and free for single women so there's usually quite a lot of them around.

I’ve had the privilege of visiting many places around the world but unfortunately my experience at Temptations Spa was the worst I’ve had in terms of service. The door staff was unprofessional and there was no proper introduction or guidance during my first visit

On my second visit today, I was unexpectedly denied entry. The reason given, bringing alcohol… was confusing, especially since on my first visit, I was told they don’t sell alcohol and was directed to buy it from the shop next door.

The inconsistency left me questioning whether there was another reason behind the treatment, possibly even racial bias, which is extremely disappointing to encounter in a Spa.

If you’re a person of color considering a visit, I’d suggest thinking twice. My experience was a complete waste of time and left a lasting negative impression…

We are really sorry to hear this and that you feel this way.

my colleague had explained to you everything about the facility in detail. on your first visit you did NOT mention to the staff member about bringing alcohol to the club.

On returning on your second visit, you had brought your own cup containing alcohol, now to staff unknown on what was inside they asked you what the cup was containing which you mentioned "wine" the staff member then proceeded if they could check the contents and you "DECLINED"

we have a 0 policy on spirits unless its already in a premixed can, we are instructed by the owner to make sure people within this club are safe, so we have to make sure people are not bringing things in they shouldn't be.

alcohol is allowed in the club. beer/cider/wine/premixed cans (all sealed) we will not accept home brought flasks/sealed cups that contain alcohol, unless we check the contents.

unfortunately due to you declining the request he couldn't proceed on letting you in. if you had brought the bottle or allowed him to view the contents (as the cup wasn't see-through) in it would have been completely okay. all clubs have there own policy so why disrespect ours. you then continue to argue with the staff member and he remained calm and polite.

If you think that the reason you wasn't allowed in was because of some sort of racial bias then you are very incorrect, that is RIDICULOUS! we have people from all over the world, different nationalities, different cultures. but they do one thing, FOLLOW THE RULES.

Has the daytime pricing now changed for couples and single ladies? We seem to remember it being £10 for couples and free for single ladies on certain days but can't find reference to it on the website(s) now?
