Vanilla Alternative near Bedford is very good and very newbie friendly - in fact they have a newbie night in Friday 19th January, for the new-to-the-scene and nervous types.

Highly recommended!

South is a big place. My favs are Kertrel/ab fab and the hellfire club, but lots of others too
