Read the reviews. Read the numerous other threads about it. Make an informed decision on whether to ignore the reviews or go somewhere else.

How can you say dont read the reviews, there's been numerous threads and reviews written about the attic, which to me seem more bad than good, and for that reason I would never go to this club.

I am however mature enough to spot a genuine bad club review over petty bad mouthing from people that don't like attic for whatever reason.

I have also heard personal reviews from friends that have gone, and it's those reviews I have listened to more than threads or club reviews

Not when it's numerous friends telling me same thing, and most have been to pretty much all clubs, and they are genuine with their reviews.

Omg! People are free to make their mind up on their own, but surely bad mouthing the place without even giving it a chance is outrageous.

I've been there many times and had great nights. I have also been there when its not been so great, these nights don't change my opinion of it being a good club that people should try though.

In which case you've made your mind up without going. Fair enough I guess, as long as you don't then go on to badmouth a place you've never been to.

I haven't bad mouthed it, all I have said is I wouldn't go from reviews I have heard about it. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and that is mine.

At no point have I told the OP not to visit the club in this thread.

I haven't bad mouthed place, simply stated I wouldn't go on reviews that I have both read and been told. You however suggested OP shouldn't read reviews which I think is crazy, reviews are a good way to get an idea if club is right for you or not. Every club on here has both good and bad reviews, some more good than bad, and vice versa.

I personally wouldn't try the attic until I hear from friends things have changed from reviews I have been told so far.

No my remark was for guy who said should ignore all reviews, not you, sorry if thought it was aimed at you.

I agree it is upto OP to make up his own mind, but word of mouth plays important role in deciding what clubs I should visit or not, so too me reviews are important.

If it helps, we live literally 10 minutes away from the Attic and we avoided going for years because of reviews and what people had said about it. We have been to Chams, la Chambre, Liberty, New Paradise, numerous swingers hotels, Infusions to name a few. Anyway, you know what?.. we thought, 'sod this', why are we listening to others instead of MAKING OUR OWN MINDS UP and experiencing it for ourselves, so we did. This club is great, we have spent a fortune on memberships and travelling to other clubs when this club is literally on our doorstep. Ok, it may not be as swanky as some of the newer clubs, but it's THE PEOPLE that make the club, not the bricks and mortar! You could meet in the Hilton Hotel, but if only 10 single guys and 1 couple turned up who were so busy preening themselves and checking for dust on the mirrors without talking to anyone, it'd be a shit night wouldnt it? Or you could meet in a B&B with lots of couples, single guys, single females, who all spoke in a relaxed atmosphere and all had fun....Judge for Yourself, don't be led, use your own mind to make your own opinions instead of relying on others to do it for you.
