"My question to any club owners on here is why do you have a dress down policy? Most people I’m sure would rather stay dressed until they get down to business. Having to dress down takes away the frill of seeing what’s underneath that lovely dress or shirt, taking the clothes off your new partner…. The excitement ! Some people if not most in the lifestyle may have body image issues so would prefer to pop a nice dress on instead of walking around practically naked. I know most single men wouldn’t mind the dress down rule so they can have a good old perv. But in this day and age is it actually necessary for a club to dictate that you must take your clothes off to enter the club or indeed a certain area of a club. I would be interested to see the results from a pole " Dress down tends to be a Northern thing The majority of clubs South of Brum, tend to be non dress down (except those which are spa themed venues)

"Honestly love the dress down rule and would consider being dressed at a club weird at this point. Everyone is relaxed and looking sexy.. People watching at a club is the best thing ever. The whole vibe is amazing. Long may it continue. " Agreed

"I think play rooms should be dress down but I prefer clubs with no dress down policy in the lounge. I only know Cupids which is dress down on arrival. " Cupids is where our scuffy incident occured lol Purple mamba isnt dress down full stop Plenty of people wandering around the rooms upstairs dressed

No dress down (like a particular club in the Midlands) means fully dressed guys wandering around perving all night! The dress down code in clubs we've visited means you're in an area of the club with people at the same comfort level as yourself. Part of the journey to better body confidence is sharing a lack of cover with other people and seeing that they're just like you. Lumps, bumps and imperfections. And no one cares or judges!

Completely agree with this. Before we started going to Chams I wouldn't even go bare chest on a beach. Now I don't care at all. I'm way more confident than I ever have been. Scott

We felt precisely the same about Chams

I would never intentionally go to a club where you were allowed to be in the play areas in outdoor clothes.

"You would think that some clubs are missing a trick There are all sorts of nights you can go to But is there a dress down club that does a stay dressed in the lounge area night ? Whilst most are ok to go with the flow , you can argue that the new people that are going to keep a club in business may be feeling put under pressure as soon as they walk in the door " TH club, Wirral is exactly that. The lounge and bar are not compulsory dress down. So new people, or anyone that prefers to stay dressed, can do just that. The only place that is compulsory dressdown are the playrooms so you don't have fully dressed peeps watching play. I think there's a couple of early dress down nights but most are ok to start dressed in the lounge and bar. Xxx

" Well just like you prefer to dress up, others prefer to dress down. That's why there are clubs that cater to each taste. Not everyone is the same nor wants the same things Personally, I don't enjoy nightclub or dress up style clubs, I go to a club to relax and have fun - dressing up is neither of those things for me at all, it's actually something I find stressful. When I go to a club, I prefer to be naked.

"I think all clubs should have a dress down policy, last thing you need is someone fully clothed watching whilst you play, very off putting " Or dress down policy is exactly that. Dress down if 0jaying or watching. But you can be dressed in the bar area all night if you wish. Or naked it's totally up to the individual.
