Party Night 26th Aug- Xtasia or Attic?

As cautious beginners who have only been to Xtasia on a quiet weekday we are looking to going to a club the weekend 25-27 Aug. We fancy going one of the bigger disco like clubs. The Attic has a beach party on the Saturday whilst Xtasia has a Prom with a kink night on the Sunday.

How crowded do these parties get? What percentage of people dress for the theme? And which do you think would be best for a couple who are going more for the experience and social than to play with others?

Speaking for the attic beach party, there is 300+ expected to attend, and if last year's is anything to go by a lot will dress for the theme.

I’m going attic with someone it’s my first time

I wouldn’t do fancy dress I just don’t like it myself when I do it but will still be there

Prom night is the theme for the evening here, but not compulsory to dress up, its more smart and sexy we're looking for. We'd be expecting about 100-150 through the doors on a Saturday, and socially orientated to start the evening off, building to play time later on.

Sunday night is Freakers, which is a real eye opener for anyone curious about the world of kink. We have a guest list on a n other site of over 100, mainly kinksters who enjoy a good dance, great costumes, and loads of naughty play.

All in all a great weekend planned of mischief and mayhem. lol.

Have been to Xstasia for a bdsm event, and Attic on regular event nights.

Would say both are superb clubs, well cleaned, and looked after, more than I can say for a club we visited last Friday which will remain nameless. Not the kind of venue we would normally go to but as there was a good “only” fet night we went along.

Unfortunately compared to both Attic and Xstasia the venue lacked clean up facilities, many mattresses were torn and it did put you off a little bit.

So back to original question, I’d say either you will have a blast.

From what we have seen Attic is probably bigger so easier to get lost or find your own space if you want some quiet time or feeling overwhelmed. Also will get a very good tour of facilities and the staff are amazing.

Xstasia staff equally lovely and helpful, and venue is still big and plenty of space.

Xstasia probably has more of a night club/disco feel at the dancefloor than Attic, the Attics current dancefloor is more a sideshow to everything else going on there.

Xatasia you will be forced to hand over your phone/camera at reception, Attic you can keep with you, but if seen using in open spaces will be warned and probably removed. But at least if you want to take some pics in a private room you can (as long as consent given by others).

How kinky is the kink night? Is it a mix of swing/kink or more "hardcore" kink? Sounds an interesting night where you could get some differnt ideas etc, but wouldn't want to feel out our depth.
