Silverleigh naturist spa

Hey.

Just wondering what silverleigh is like. Does play happen or is it strick naturism?

It's largely naturist - but they have play rooms which are a bit tacky! Play is frowned upon in communal areas but in the play rooms and private hotel rooms it's okay.

It's a quirky place, but the staff are lovely and on the whole the clientele are there for a nice relaxed time! If you go with big expectations you will be disappointed. If you go with a chilled attitude you should enjoy it! Definitely give it a try!

There are rooms at the back you can go into they are not as comfortable as clubs play rooms.

It's a naturist spa with a identify problem. We happy went for a vanilla naturist stay. 80%+ of the guests seem to be swingers. The staff seem to recognise its a swingers venue and so do the punters. It's seems its only the owner (a lovely man BTW) who is the only one trying hard to retain any facade its anything other than a swingers venue. However it's worth remembering it is technically a naturist spa, some vanilla naturist do go so you still have to keep the swinging on the low key and anything physical within your bedroom (if staying) or in one of the "relaxation" rooms.

We go to Silverliegh fairly often as a great place to warm up and relax on rainy cool days.

It’s usually pretty mellow and we’ve met some nice people to chat with.

We don’t like to pay there though as it doesn’t feel comfortable to us.

Silverleigh is ok..

Pros are -

It has some outside space and sun loungers for naked sunbathing if weather permits.

The owner and his wife are both lovely people.

Nice working steam room (unlike another venue close by).

Nice working sauna.

Two small whirlpools (one sit in and one lie back).

Nice pool.

Nice small cafe/chill out area.

Cons are -

Its very dated.

The rest rooms are not the best or most hygienic as we all know what goes on in them but there is no cleaning wipes or bins to hand in them so that puts me off from using them.

I think the chlorine levels are quite high as my eyes sting straight away and my skin becomes irritated and dry if I use the whirlpools and pool.

I much prefer BGHS but will use silverleigh if limited for time.

I love silverleigh on a Friday but have to agree about the chlorine levels. My eyes kill for a few days after.

The owner John knows that it is a swinger venue, and he and his now passed wife Val were originally swingers who frequented Eurekas back in the 80’s before opening Silverlieghs. He has always been concerned however that the council may close him down, therefore as far as he is concerned in any and every communication is that it is strictly a naturist venue.

We love it on a Friday evening even have a play if we meet the right couple obviously they have to use number of chemicals but we always shower off maybe 5 times during our visit and surprisingly there is often a pair of hands to help with the soap

well i know swinging goes on but ime now taking two ladies both naturists not fwb and not swingers we love the freindly vibes but not the walking wankers you sometimes get like flys round a turd

as in most places the ladies if they want company will aproach you

at least chat and talk

i love the relaxed vibe and freindly ness of most people and the lovely staff

i visit for this but if a lady would like more i wont object lol
