Any advice or recommendations for a club in the northwest for a travelling Scotsman down soon for work. Would likely be a Sunday and looking for chilled fun and entertainment. Thank you.

Cupids isn’t your best option as a single guy and not local.

Adam & Eve in Eccles, No3 in Chorley is my counsel having spent a decade in/around the NW club scene.

DM me if you want specifics OP.

Not sure how you can say Cupids isn't local but suggest Adam & Eves

Op.... Sundays are gonna be quieter wherever you go. Maybe try looking at the event listings in case there's an event on as that will make it busier.

"Any advice or recommendations for a club in the northwest for a travelling Scotsman down soon for work. Would likely be a Sunday and looking for chilled fun and entertainment. Thank you."

I’ve been to Club Play, Cupids, Townhouse, and No.3, all as a solo guy.

Club Play was the least welcoming club I’ve been to. Cupids had very friendly hosts on the day, Townhouse is a very popular club (and for good reasons), so always able to find someone to chat with, and No.3 easily the most friendly and welcoming club I’ve ever been to as a solo guy

We have refrained from commenting on your constant negative statements about our club in these forums at every opportunity not to draw attention to them. The green arrow next to your profile in the forum shows that story.

Everyone is welcome to an opion that we respect and we are sorry you feel you did not enjoy your time at our club for what ever reason that maybe.

We welcome EVERYONE at _lub play and to show this we are willing to offer you a FREE entry to _lub play even after your comments and discuss your concerns try and make a negative into a positive xxx

Will there be dancing girls? A marching band and a confetti cannon when I get to the front door?

I answered the OP’s question honestly, and without bias, based on my experiences visiting clubs in the NW as a single guy.

My inbox is open to all (as your friend Vodkajem knows, along with a number of other single guys who have messaged me direct), so no need to derail the thread.

I do appreciate the gesture of a free entry though

I always give credit where it’s due, and with veris like yours showing how friendly and welcoming to single guys you are, I may have a new option for my weekend in Leeds in September….
