Clubs in London for first-timer

Sooo I moved to London a few months back, coming from a fairly ‘safe’ social circle in the NE.

I’ve struggled somewhat with meeting new people so I think it’s best I dip my pinky toe into the club scene!

I’ve never been to a club before, so if anyone could recommend a venue, days and times that would be best?

Plus any general advice would be great!
