I can’t wait for “THE LOFT” (The Attic 2nd Generation) to open its doors. The team have worked hard to get it ready for the community to have a great space to play and socialise.

See you all soon at the new place. Or even the old we enjoy clubs and seeing Ron and the team

Funnily enough we were just talking about this!

We're looking forward to our next visit - September 30th, 80's party - and were wondering when it will switch to the new venue.

Is that a threat or a promise?

I quite enjoyed The Attic during my previous visits, but I've not been for a good year or two now, unfortunately. I'm looking forward to seeing what they've done with the new place, especially as it'll be *even closer* to where I live!

It’s the attic it’s moving premises that’s all everything staying the same for now. Just bigger place with a few new twist lol

We had a sneaky tour when they first started all the hard work converting the place into what we know as The Attic. The place is huge and we are sure no one will be disappointed. Hats off to all who is carrying out all the hard work getting it ready for us all and having to run current club at the same time.

Its just round the corner from current club so basically the same area, can't remember the street name off hand. A stones throw from Attic as it is now

Just found the location on Google, Ascot Drive.

Which is just around the corner from the Attics current location. Which is nice to know x

It's taking alot of hard work, willing hands, so much to do but it's all in hand, no set date has been made, it will deffo be different, and once open will evolve rapidly, a dedicated team are working tirelessly to bring you a club, if you remember 16 or 17 years ago, the "old" attic took time to evolve, but gave you a safe place to enjoy yourself, so just understand and appreciate that is what everyone is trying to do, but most have full time jobs too. It will be worth the wait and its constant evolution, so you will be able to enjoy exploring more and more each time.

Seriously is it really going to be called The Loft ?

Tell us this is a wind up. It doesn’t have the same ring to is as The Attic. Can’t believe you’d change the name.

Not sure why someone has coined it The Loft. We were in at the weekend to see the progress and the place is still going to be called Attic Experience (business name) known as The Attic as it is and always will be. There is already in place, inside the club, glass signage with Attic imprinted on. Oh yea and it is starting to take shape. They have done a lot of hard work and still some to do. We take our hats off to all the staff working hard to get this done

I was having a laugh when I called it “The loft” it was to get people’s attention and make people aware of the move. plus yes how good the new place looks.

Thanks for the compliments on how well we are doing with the build. Anyone can help if your good at DIY and the relevant skills they are looking for and fancy volunteering your help then speak to the staff at the attic.

The more pleople the merrier and more progress the quicker it might open plus it’s swingers building for swingers.

Like we have said to Ron, if we lived closer we'd have been helping as much as we could

Wish we lived closer too, as we'd be there helping.

At least this way it'll be a nice surprise when it opens.

Hey guys good afternoon from Galway so anyone know whenever it's reopening or is there a date for the new Attic launch? As I'm planning a flying trip over to the UK on Saturday 14th October and after being on this irish fab scene for the past couple of years and the Attic has caught my attention but slightly worried now after reading this thread that the club might not be ready in time? So just incase it isn't open any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated as always within the fab community I'm just looking for a relaxed evening with zero expectations but just wanted to check out the UK scene for the first time.

Attic is still open, they are working hard getting the new venue ready so wouldn't worry about your trip as current will still be open. Their plan is only when the new one is ready to open up the current will be no more. Smooth transition from old to new is their plan
