Most fet nights use traffic light system, green, amber, red, easy to remember safe words and not difficult to remember, say, and most importantly hear. They are out of context with anything else.

Amber if it's getting a bit close to the edge and you want your partner to steady it for a bit, red is a hard stop whatever you are doing.

In the vanilla scene no is no and has always meant no.
