swindon

We are going to abfabs for the first time in mid July. To make the most of it we are staying for two nights locally and attending on a Friday and Saturday night. See there isn't a huge presence on here for the club but does anyone have any hints and tips on visiting?

If you attend regularly do let us know too. Always good to make connections prior to visiting anywhere new.

Hi, we are considering attending on Friday, but we’re interested to know more about how the play areas are organised. The website isn’t particularly revealing about them, whether they are only individual lockable rooms or whether there are open play areas which are our preference.

Did you get any other info from folks on here that you could share?

There’s plenty of open areas (as well as lockable rooms for those with that preference), a dark room, glory holes, dungeon (for those into that), cinema room where lots of open play happens, a couples / ladies only zone .. something for everyone really. You won’t be disappointed!

There’s plenty of open areas (as well as lockable rooms for those with that preference), a dark room, glory holes, dungeon (for those into that), cinema room where lots of open play happens, a couples / ladies only zone .. something for everyone really. You won’t be disappointed! "

There’s a mix of open rooms, lockable rooms, you can literally play in the bar area if that’s your choice

If you are attending Friday and Saturday nights. Then you should also go to Kestrels on the Sunday,

A perfect wind down after the weekend and time to chill and have fun

Is it Sunday afternoon sessions (we’d be certainly interested in those)….can’t seem to find out any info online about times, entry fee etc….and forgive our ignorance….but are kestrels and abfabs next to each other?

yes a small online hassle to get info - but we attend around 12:30 and stay/play until about 5pm ... it is very much a 11 to about 6pm+ venue (afternoon fun) ... same facilities , there this Sun from 12:30 ... happy to meet up with new or established attendees

Opening times and prices are on their website, heathrowabfab.co.uk

Kestrel and AbFab share a venue - Kestrel during the day, AbFab at night.

Yes, we were considering trying somewhere new. Looked at hellfire too, was a bit put off by the atrocious website, plus it’s couples only evening there Friday. Chatted with some lovely people in this thread and decided to give Abfabs a try!

Parking situation, earlier the better of you want space to park.. or else it would be on the street parking - regarding safety - quite safe but don’t hold me to it lol
