Are clubs a good place to meet bi women?

We've never been to a club before, and are considering it for the potential to meet a nice bi woman for FFM...or MFF, if it's supposed to be written the other way around.

Is this a good idea? We've kind of got the impression (and hope we are wrong) that clubs are for couples to meet other couples mainly, so don't know if we would be wasting our time visiting one to try to meet a woman rather than a couple, so any advice would be appreciated.

Bath Swingers Club seems to be well liked on here, would that be a good start?

If there are single women they will generally be there with other couples or be beset upon by couples the second they get in there!

They are after all the unicorns of swinging.

I'd say go for it. My personal preference is to play with girls but without the guy but I have played with girls whilst their other halves either watched or played with them.

I'd say it's probably the best place to meet them, it's also good to leave a message on the 'meets/events' page on here to let others know you'll be going to a club and on the look out for a lady or ladies.

If the lady is part of a couple then just mention that you're only interested in females and take it from there. Some will say that they only play as a couple, some might ask if the guy can watch and others will be happy to let the male go off elsewhere while you enjoy yourselves.

Correct. If you really want a bi-fem experience arrange it with another couple.

I'm single and go to clubs (and parties) a lot. But straight. The bi, single females are Unicorns. And are likely to have pre-arranged with who they already know.
