Genuine question. As a (now) non member, if we have a day visit, can we bring our own food or not.

Struggling to get an answere.

The answer seems to be no. Some people have said they have taken water in and not been questioned which isn’t that generous given that any licensed venue that sells alcohol has to provide free tap water.

In fairness though it does seem that the price of the food is now reasonable and decent quality but again this is only what we’ve heard

Eureka has a water machine in the spa area, where you can fill cups or bottles.

Not so much the cost that’s an issue. Quality definitely used to be. Can’t comment on now.

We just prefer not to have to go from the bottom field to the clubhouse, possibly queue up and hang about for it to be prepared.

Just a lot easier to take our own.

Probably the main reason we don’t visit anymore. X

It does seem like it’s all a bit much for you.

We're popping down Sunday if it's sunny, the FAQs says:

Do not bring food or drink onto the resort.

So we'll be doing that, I'm sure we'll survive on what we can buy

We'll let you know how it goes xxx

The last time we stayed in a cabin we got quite a rude phone call from the female owner giving us a warning as they had found a water bottle in our cabin that we hadn't bought on site.

She also said that we had ruined the hot tub that came with the cabin as we there was fake tan all in it.

I pointed out my partner is mixed race so doesn't have much use for fake tan.

We haven't been back since.
