Eureka advertising the pool on social media. It’s not heated and the weather is not hot.

Dear oh dear.

Shocking! People might be tricked into going there, and find out what a great place it is. All those acres of space and peace.....hmmmm might not be that bad

Exactly this, there is nowhere better for naked sunbathing, chilling in the sun and some sexy fun on a warm day.

We first went to Eureka over 25 years ago, so we know a bit about the place.

Unfortunately the attitude of the management in recent years has led us to avoid it.

Spent a couple of days there last week..far more relaxed attitude from the management..let us keep the cabin till 6pm the next day..we have experienced the pettyness and bad attitude of the previous management and we must say it was a very positive experience compared to those times..

Blimey. That sounds like a bit of a sea change. We've found the management in recent years petty and rude. It put us off for a long time.

We were regulars until they started the pettiness and anti-member antics. It was as if they simply hated the patrons and wanted rid of them as soon as they'd handed over their money.

A shame really. We used to recommend and promote the place to people we met at naturist venues. Nowadays, we've been telling people to avoid the place.

If others come on here and show that they've had a positive experience, maybe we will give them another try. It would be great to hear that they have mended their ways, but I am sceptical.

We used to enjoy our visits. We always had a cabin and always found it great value for money. That is, until they stopped the BYOB policy. I think that's when the rot set in and the numbers declined.

Funnily it’s still the same management.. Stuart has been a manager for as long as I can recall (be it a silent one for a few years until just over 4 years ago) and he wasn’t very approachable and would rather ban someone instead of taking some criticism or suggestions…. No one likes criticism but how can a person or organization grow without it?

I really do hope for the clubs sake that he has started to listen to the paying customers who are the ones who keep it going…. Judging by a few posts I’ve seen I hope that’s true as there isn’t a place to escape like it that im aware of on a hot summers day and the weekend parties used to be legendary.. if you didn’t call to book a table spot on a Saturday morning you had to stand… and with roughly 21 tables including the booths back then, that was a lot of bums on seats (not including the stools at the back)

Will they get back to those numbers … who knows…but surely it’s worth a try?

I don’t know….maybe Relax the only purchased on site food and drink rules for starters.

Allow people to bring a picnic and nibbles… believe me… never stopped the kitchen being busy pre Covid.

I hope things are on the up and folk get to enjoy the club for how ever long they can before they can’t and do not get the chance or choice.

we took our own snacks and drinks...didnt drink them openly but in beakers we took..had no trouble off them..we bought breakfast and the odd cuo if tea..they gave us extra tea etc for our cabin...place was clean..the phone rule was enforced on a single guy wandering round videoing and that as the inky raised voice i heard for 2 days..

We were at Eurekas last weekend for a party. The cabin was clean and tea, coffee, was offered for there. The food was freshly cooked and lovely. And reasonably priced. The bar was well stocked and reasonably priced too. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be going again just as soon as funds allow. The staff were polite and considerate too.

We travelled from the west midlands to visit the place so it's not like it's on our doorstep and thought it was great

Hello to you both

yes you can go on the day but take some ID with you

Non members require ID and if you take out a membership you will need ID

So worth taking it with you

We are planning to attend for the first time this year on Sunday (4th June) - we’ve been coming here for about 15 years now and it holds a special place in our hearts.

Is anyone else planning to visit on Sunday?

Just posted a review from our experience this week feel free to have a read, I believe the hosted events maybe better but the general running and management of the place is pretty poor tbh, lovely grounds tho if you just want to sunbathe naked….. but can do that anywhere really

All anyone can do is speak as they find and not everyone will have the same experience everywhere they go. This morning we found everyone to be very pleasant and the place was spotless and much improved from last time we visited.

As party hosts we always make sure our guests are well looked after wherever the party is held xxx
