"Definitely have your first visit on a Saturday if you're worried about being overwhelmed. The couples even out the single guys that manage to stick around, and even then it can be a bit much with constant attention and no time for yourselves as a couple to discuss/reflect/choose etc" Wow we went in at 6pm, was out by 7.15pm. Pure sausage-fest. Hungry single men.. not one for the feint hearted!! We should've done the Saturday couples day  | |||

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience at Rios.It’s always had lots of guys attending some like me who go with the attitude no expectations no disappointments unfortunately too many go with a different attitude which can make for a unpleasant experience like you have had.If there is to be a next time for you perhaps try the Saturday after 7.00 pm it’s couples only. | |||

"we are planning n going to Rio on monday afternoons-anyone else going---?" I would love to go, alas work gets in the way. By going in the afternoon, it should be fairly quiet compared to the evening. I hope you have a fun, relaxing but hassle free time. Note that it's likely the large jacuzzi will be closed. From memory, they used to open it around 6pm ish. | |||
